SUNDAY WHATS HAPPENING
Good morning Judy and my OFF sistas!
Well, let me jump in here while Judy is getting her tea. LOL!
The big news of the day is we bought a house! Wow, that was really fast. Saw it, put in an offer and by the end of the day, it was ours! We are feeling really good about this one. It will be just perfect for Chris and her family. And the best part is we're closing in just 3 weeks. Give it a month, and the kids will be out of here and Butch and I will have our lives back!
However, all that real estate dealing took up most of our day yesterday, so we still have quite a bit to do this morning before we can leave for South Padre. I did manage to get all of our clothes laid out for the trip yesterday evening. (No suitcases with an RV, we just hang our clothes in the closet.) And Butch got the pickup cleaned up. But we still have a pretty long list of gear and fishing equipment, etc., to pull together this morning. Hopefully we'll get off by noon.
So with that in mind, I'd better hop in the shower and get a move on. I don't know how much I'll get to check in over the next 4 days, but you know I love you all!

OK I am back...coffee isn't tasting good to me right now so I am trying tea...lol
Well I found out through a tenant that Jason is going to quit. Rick called him yesterday and he said yes he was. Why? Because he was tired of being on call and not getting overtime pay. HUH? Last time I looked he HAD overtime pay on his check...WTH is he talking about????? Plus he also gets paid for time he is not here...he gets paid for talking on his phone, for smoking, watching tv, for goofing around etc...so WTH is his problem???? Oh and no medical. Well he KNEW we didn't get medical when he took this job!!!!!!! He is still complaining on his raise and Christmas bonus also!!!! Not everyone that works for this company GOT a raise OR a bonus and HE got BOTH!!!! Ever since he got back with his so called wife he has changed. I let me tell you this...I do NOT like his wife one bit. No sir. So his plan now is to go work for his cousin in Columbus. HAHA he has done this before and it did NOT work then why will it work now???? Good Luck. I don't care anymore. It is snowing here and is he here to clean snow? NO. I am not calling him in. He KNOWS he is to be here and if he does not come in I am calling my boss in the morning and let her know this has been going on and that he said he is quitting Friday. Should I tell him hit the door now??? Just wish I had someone to come in now to fill his place!!!! DAM!!!!!!!
Anyhow some better news...My horse rescue took Journey to the vet yesterday and the dr said there is no infection and she has done well under the cir****tances and only a small piece of skin that will fall off soon that is infected and nothing to worry about. It just ugly to look at is all.
My nephew Joey posted on FB a nice THANKYOU to everyone that sent Prayers and Thoughts his way and that without them he wouldn't be where he is now...he is getting better everyday now and again thanks you all!!!! :-)

Judy....sounds like Jason is just plain lazy to me! I think you need to be a bit tougher on the next guy. They should not be paid for appointments and such. I know you are trying to be nice but it obviously didn't help. What a little jerk!! His job does not include telling his business to tenants!! If he ever comes back begging for his job I know you will be pointing at the door with a few special words for him...LOL!! Hope you find someone better soon.
I am so happy your nephew is doing so well. He is very lucky to be alive!

Mary....you are helping your daughter more then you know. Her just knowing Taylor is safe is a big relief for her. Those special times with Taylor will never be forgotten.

As for me....still hanging with Lucas. He has been sick since Friday. Yesterday he spent a lot of time in the bathroom. Poor kid! I hope he feels better today and can go to school tomorrow. I pray I don't get it. I have a headache this morning and my tummy is kind of off. I so don't want to get this!! I am going to shower soon and maybe that will help me feel better.

Hi there i am in Cold Chicago getting my baby time in!!!!! My baby is getting bigger!!!!! I took her shopping while my daughter was working!!!! She works at a mall so i went with her and we took Vinnie with us! I was in my glory! I got her a little pair of red shoes and some outfits!
I was supposed to go to lunch with the illinois oh group but one of the gals broke her ankle on the ice last night. And it is so cold here the roads are very slippery. Sonit was cancelled.
We r leaving for home on Tuesday. Tomorrow we r going on a play date with my neice.
A very busy life I lead!

Connie that's the thanks we get for liking him so much...kick in the face!!! Guess what...we found a guy!!! My AVON lady's husband!!! He even wanted to start today!!!! WOW!!!! I told him I had to clear it with my boss first and have him fill out an application first...sounds really good to us right now!!! I love my avon lady also and even mentioned to her about a manager position here with our company if she was interested...so this works out I am sure!!! So IF Jason shows up tomorrow I will ask him how long he worked today..HAHAHA and see what he says...then I will ask for his keys...jerk!!!!
Yes Joey is LUCKY!!!! OMG!!! And thanks again for all those thoughts and prayers!!!! I have never been so scared in all my life as I was for him!!!

Vickie: A great big CONGRATULATIONS on the house!! What a relief - now you can enjoy your vacation. I'm so happy for you because I know you've been under a lot of stress.
Judy: Speaking of stress..... Hopefully you'll find a replacement for Jason quickly - and it will be someone who put in a day's work for a day's pay without complaint. And on a brighter side...good news about your nephew Joey's recovery. Sounds like he is doing well.
Connie: Hope you don't catch whatever Lucas has. This Winter is bad enough without getting sick.
Carla: Sounds like you're enjoying your "baby time"- I love buying my granddaughter "treats". Sorry your lunch was cancelled - but better to stay in if it's bitter cold out.
