I'm back.
I overslept this morning. Just couldn't scrape myself out of bed. I have my interview at the zoo this afternoon. I was supposed to go last week, but it was snowing, and getting dark, when I was supposed to leave to go there. Today, it's just grey outside.
I also have to go to the bank, and get some cash. I have to pay my rent tomorrow.
Must scoot.

Good morning Trish and everyone......
Trish....I am praying all goes well with your interview today. You would do so well there. I want to get into some kind of volunteering but not this winter. It has just been too harsh to get out much.
Do you pay your rent in cash? I use Pay Sure at my my bank for almost everthing. I love online banking. This account is really safe and there will be no charges if ever there is a withdrawl that I did not make. The money will be replaced!! I am on a much safer account for my debt card as well. It is working great! Really protected well. No cost to me for either account!
As for me....I am feeling better today...I always so appreciate when days are like this. Thank GOD....he is amazing!!
Another of my friends died here in St Cloud yesterday. He was a good guy! He went to bed and died in his sleep. He had a lot of heart surgeries. He seemed to be doing well last time I saw him. So sad for his family. He was loved by many. A real gentleman!! R.I.P. Ron.
On Wednesday evening or Thursday morning I will be going to stay with my grandson, Lucas for about six days. Carrie and Greg are going to Florida. We will have a BLAST!!!! He loves it when I am there. I make all his favorites foods to eat. We sit and watch movies together and laugh until our sides ache! That will be good for both of us!!
Nothing planned for me today. Tomorrow Kyleigh is coming over to spend the day and maybe the night. She will help do the vaccuming and things that I just can't do. She is a sweetheart. All my grandchildren are!! 
I am BLESSED!!
Carla....remember when you sent me those dishclothes you made. I didn't use them at my sister's. I am using them now. They are by far the best I have ever had....thank you again sweetie!!
Vickie....hope today is a wonderful day for you. I want to see you health and strong once again!!
Eileen...good to see your post. You seem to be keeping busy. I am so sad your job isn't fun anymore. No job like that is good. 
Mary...hope you are having a happy day today!! You seem to be doing everything right towards your weight loss goal of having surgery...YAY!!

Hi Connie,
I'm renting a house from Colleen and Trent, and a couple of years ago, I bounced a check to her. So, they asked that when I pay the rent, I either pay with a bank check, or cash. I don't mind. It helps me be responsible. My retirement gets deposited on the 1st, or the Friday before if it's on a weekend. Then, I go get the money and take it to their house to give to Colleen, or Trent. Once it's done, I'm able to pay the rest of my bills.

No need to apologize Sweetie. When I lived in PA, I paid all my bills through online banking, except my rent. My previous landlord was renting a private home, not a complex, to me. I usually paid him with a certified check, because of how lousy I am at keeping my checkbook in order.

Good morning Trish and Connie and all my OFF sistas!
It's a good Friday here, too. I am thankful to see January 2014 come to an end. It's been a long, long month of healing for me. I hope I finish healing in February and NEVER go through anything like this again.
Trish, best of luck on the interview with the zoo. I think the docent's position would be perfect for you! I can really see you doing that. Loved the new pic on FB this morning! Your son looks a lot like you.
Connie, I sure hope it is WARMER where you are going next week! Have fun with your grandson. May there be NO snow and NO sub-zero temperatures!
Today is my day to visit the wound care center again. It's been 2 weeks since my last visit. The "hole" is still there, but Butch says it is much smaller. Geez, I wi**** would close up already. He and I are both sick and tired of dealing with it, although he never complains about it. Such a sweetheart! I am still trying to do everything the wound care doctor recommended for fast healing. Lots ofprotein, extra vitamins, lots of rest. I guess when you have a wound as big as mine was, it just takes a long time for it to finally close. It's still over an inch long. But that's way better than when it was 4 inches!
I wi**** would close up before we take our little trip to South Padre on Feb 9th. I know it won't, but it would be fun to be able to get in the pool and the hot tub at the RV park. Oh, well, it won't kill me to miss it this time. We are getting excited about our trip. We will spend at least one day fishing. I haven't fished in sal****er in a long, long time. I grew up on the coast, and our family had a bay house and we used to fish and crab off the pier every summer. It will be fun to do it again. And we will go to Harlingen one day and go to Bass Pro Shop. Butch got a $1000 gift certificate to Bass Pro Shop when he retired and we haven't had a chance for him to go and spend it yet. So that will be fun, too. But mostly we just want to RELAX!!!

Well, that was about all the news I had anyway. Headed for a shower and then lots of errand to run in town before my doctor appointment.
