Good Morning!
Good Morning OFF! Well, I've been up since 4:30 a.m. Hubby has an appointment with a urologist today to see about the kidney stone that is lodged in the urethra. I'm anxious about the appointment and can't sleep. We'll both be glad when it's over. I'm hoping that the dr. will be able to take care of the stone in a compassionate way (like under anesthesia in the hospital and not in his office with nothing for the pain). This dr. really doesn't have a very good bedside manner but comes highly recommended by our PCP.
Hope that everyone has a good day today!

Good morning Cindy and everyone.....
Cindy...sorry you had a rough nights sleep. I am praying all goes or has gone well for your husband at his appointment today. Kidney stones are so painful.
As for me...I did 3 loads of laundry this morning. All done and put away. I still have a load of sheets to do. I have an appointment with my banker in a half and hour. I will do the sheets when I get back. Tomorrow I need to clean a bit before my family gets here in the evening. Just need to do a little dusting and wiping down the bathroom.
Wishing you all a great day!! I hope Vickie and Butch made it home safely. Praying for Carla as she is traveling was well.
Prayers for many of our special OFF family. I hope we hear something from Jennifer and Annette soon.
Got to go for now....love and hugs to all....connie d
Good afternoon Everyone!
Didn't get much sleep last night - had to leave at 6:30 for my Informational Meeting - was so afraid of oversleeping that I stayed up most of the night. Today was the Psych meeting and she talked a lot about after-surgery support groups, which I'm definitely interested in. But she also mentioned that if your Sleep Apnea test is positive, that you have to be on the machine for two months before they will schedule the surgery. My initial visit at the Sleep Center is February 11th, then the test will be scheduled, so if I do have the S.A. surgery will be delayed a bit. But I can deal with it. I'm making progress. Initial orientation was in October, so it has been moving.
Besides a sleepless night, and getting pooped-out babysitting for several days, I was very tired. So I took a nap when I got home from the Weight Center.
Hope everyone is having a great day.
Still learning. Currently in pre-op stage.
Good Afternoon Cindy, Connie, and OFF Family,
I've tried posting twice, but got interrupted both times. This afternoon, a dear friend from PA called. I hadn't spoken to her in ages. She didn't know I'd moved last year. She sent me a Christmas card, and it came back to her.
I spent the day in my robe. I got an antibiotic yesterday, and had a fever last night. I'm hoping tomorrow I feel better. Today had to be a rest day. I have a second load of laundry in the dryer, so other than putting that away, I'm going to just crochet, and rest.
Cindy, I hope the doctor helps your husband.
Hugs, Trish

OMG!!!!! I ran over there...today was her birthday and was 46...they do not know if she slipped and hit her head or if she had a heart attack...she also had not been feeling well...bad cold/flu not sure...been on medications...coughing hard enough to turn her lips blue...SO sad...Carol has a lot of health problems right now and I am trying to keep her calm...her other daughter finally got there so I left...they will be doing an autopsy to find out what happened.
Got my hair all cut off today...man it short!!! Just the way I wanted it!!!! Finally!!!!

Thoughts and Prayers for ALL that need them!!!

Hello Judy....I am so sad for your tenant. What a tragedy losing your child no matter at what age!! I am saying prayers for your friend and her family. I am just in shock...I don't know what else to say. I am so glad they are doing an autopsy. With a cough like that she should have been in the hospital. I feel so bad you all of you.
Glad you finally got your hair cut. I wish I could wear it that short. I did it once and everyone hated it including me. I got mine trimmed a while ago. It was half way down my back. I had my daughter cut off about 2.5 inches. She will be staying here Saturday night. I am going to have her cut it a bit more. When my hair is wet it is all curls. I was blowing it dry and straighten it most times. Now I let it just go to curls all the time unless I am going somewhere.
Have a better evening. Prayers that you are okay!
Love you honey....HUGS.....connie d
Thanks Connie....I will let her know...I am so shaken by this...Wendy was nice to me and Rick and a real bundle of fire!!! Now she is gone...so sad!!!
Wish my hair was thicker then maybe I would let it grow long again...it used to be almost to my waist...but not anymore!!!
Feel like I am getting Ricks cold now...grrrrrrrrrr

Hello sistas,
I'm home but just posting to say hello. Butch and I got home, fell into bed, napped 3 hours, got up, ate a bite of supper, and we're going back to bed again. The trip to Waco was necessary, but really tiring for both of us.
I'll post more tomorrow. Judy, so sorry about your friend and her daughter. Cindi, I hope the kidney stone passes for your husband. My daughter gets those--they're awful.
Love you all!
