Merry Christmas from HOME!
Merry Christmas Vickie and everyone......
Vickie ......I am so happy that you have your wonderful family all around you!!! I am sure you were missed very much!! Little Benny and Reese probably won't leave your side!!
I had to run to Wal Mart this morning. I needed to find brackets for my book shelf. They have disappeared with so many other things!! I can't stand my books sitting around on the floor in boxes!!
I was invited out tonight for Christmas Eve dinner. I decided to stay and get things done around here. I am also invited for Christmas Day dinner. I will decide tonight what I will do. Without my family it just doesn't feel like Christmas!!
Megan, my daughter in law, called this morning. She had Grace get on the phone. I love hearing her sweet little voice. She didn't have much to say this time just that she was going to Grandpa and Grandma's for Christmas. They are Megan's parents. Then Gracie just said, "bye Nana". Made me feel sad. I miss her so much!! I can't blame Grace, she is 7 and so excited about Christmas!! I am glad she will be with people that love her. Nic will be there too as will Jamie.
Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas!!!! Enjoy your time with your families!!
God Bless you all. Prayers for so many of our OFF family. Praise God that Vickie is here with us again!!
Much love and Many hugs to you all....connie d
Hi Vickie and Connie and my OFF family:
Vickie, so glad you are at home now with your family. Let them do for you for once.
Connie, I know what you mean about not getting into the spirit without your family there. I feel the same way. Not in the mood to do much.
I stopped off at my former boss' apartment last night after work to have a beer and talk. I figured he needed some company. He had texted me to see what was going on. He was kind of depressed, although he did say he had a couple leads on jobs, which would be good. I think he just needs to get out every now and then and see something other than the inside of his apartment. I know I'd be going stir crazy.
I'm off today, but not doing much. I did laundry, had some soup for lunch. My life is so exciting. I took leftover turkey and stuffing out of the freezer, but after that soup, I'm pretty full and don't know if I want that. I just plan to watch Christmas movies tonight. Have to work tomorrow, but we're having barbecue at work so that will be good. Then I'm off again on Thursday.
Hope everyone has a great Christmas.
