Happy Saturday everyone!!
Happy Saturday everyone......
Good morning! I pray everyone that is traveling has a safe trip. I am concerned about some of you traveling in snow and icy conditions. Go slow and be very cautious. Better yet put it off for another day. There are some harsh weather conditions right now.
My sweet Nic is here with me today. He is still sleeping right now. When he gets up he is going to help me get some things done. Helping with organizing and various other things. Kyleigh and her boyfriend Dan were here with us last night. We had a pizza party!! The kids were all telling funny family stories and some of the crazy things they did. We laughed for a couple hours!!! Of course Nic was picking on me...it felt so good!!!! We had a lot of love here!!
Wishing you all a wonderful day!!
I am still praying for Vickie, Annette, and so many of our other awesome OFF family. God Bless you all!
Much love and many hugs to all....connie d
Morning Connie!!! I bet you all had a great time last night celebrating he good news on Nic's tests!!! GOD IS GOOD!!!!
Called the motel to let them know we have weather troubles in our area and won't be there today...added Thursday night on and told him IF we can't come yet Sunday I would call again...he said no problem be safe!!! Love these people!!! So kind and caring!!!
So far one area is flooded but NOT near any apartments...BUT the heavy rains will be here in a few hours they said...that is the rain we are worried sick about!!! I hope it slows down so we don't flood!!! Driving tomorrow there is a chance for freezing rain...again I hope they are wrong or atleast til we get to Michigan safe!!!!
Jason FINALLY got a phone so we can relax on that worry!!! Sighs...seems it is always something when we want to get away or do something!!!!
Forgot to go pick up my Buckeye candy I ordered....when I remembered last night I missed their closing by 10 minutes!!! Sent them an email and she called me last night said she was sorry she forgot to call me...can I still get them in the morning?? YES!!!!!!! So off I went just after 9 this morning to get them...got them home and she mad me the LITTLE ones!!!!! These are bite size not the bigger ones that it takes atleast 3 bites!!! OH WELL!!!!! They are got a joke anyhow...Buckeyes beating Michigan in football...LOL. Was going to wrap them individually but not now...waaaaaay to small!!!
Had my 3rd evaluation yesterday at the chiro. Neck IS improving slow but sure...wonderful!! He showed me the before and current results...OMG!!!!! He said yes your neck is in bad shape...glad we caught it in time or I could have had a stroke or heart attack and possible breathing problems...told him my neck didn't bother me til they started cracking it all the time...he said it IS getting BETTER that is WHY it hurts...things are going BACK into the RIGHT place now!!! Oh OK. SO more cracks to get me better...and NO more falls on he ice!!! LOL
Speaking of my fall...heard that my next door neighbor told this other tenant that I DESERVED to fall as Rick didn't clean the ice up!!! WTH????? Salt does not work below certain temps...what DID melt refroze and blac**** is hard to see!!!! OMG I can't believe he would say that I DESERVED to fall!!!!
Well I need to figure out what to take on our trip as far as clothes go. I never started packing yet due to watching the darn weather...so need to get that started I guess...
So to those of you that I will not be able to chat with til we get back home again...MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!! GOD Bless each and everyone of you!!!!!
Thoughts and Prayers for ALL that need them!!!!
HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Good evening Judy!!
Last night was so wonderful. I love to listen to my grandchildren. Love their laughter!
Sorry the buckeyes are so small. If you do it next year you will have to designate a size. I am sure they tasted yummy!
So glad your evaluation went well and your neck is improving! I pray you don't fall anymore!! That tenant needs to be addressed. He will be embarrassed to know you know about his remark. Just casually walk by him and mention it...LOL!! He may think twice about saying things like that the next then.
I hate packing for trips. You need so much as everyone has their homes at different temps. Always causal clothes and some dress clothes too. Then there are the casual shoes, dress shoes, boots and jewelry!! Good Luck!!
Merry Christmas to you and Rick!!!
Love, hugs, and prayers....connie d
Next year MAYBE my neighbor will make them for me...didn't know she knew how til after I placed my order for them.
As for the tenant and his mouth if I did say to him in passing he wouldn't hear me...the crazy old fart is NOT going to wear any hearing aid!!! He would rather people repeat OVER and OVER things they say to him and then he still DOESN'T hear right!!!!!!! I am giving him the cold shoulder though so he HAS to know something is up...haha.
We are staying at a motel...my dog and my sisters do NOT like each other!!!! So it costs me money if Bandit goes along...I will NOT kennel him ever again...did one time and I will not do it again. Anyhow casual clothes is all we need...plus our things we need to live...beer and smokes top of list for him...lol. GRRRR but he won't listen to me and slow down or quit. MEN!!!!
Anyhow watching weather and not liking what I am hearing...calling for another 1-2 inches of rain yet tonight!!!! Then in Michigan hey will be getting ice and snow...so IF we can leave in the morning we are praying all that is over and cleaned by the time we get there!!!!
Merry Christmas!!!!
Love and HUGSSSSSSSSSS

Greetings Connie and OFF Family,
Thank you for praying for us travelers. This day did not go as planned. The good news is, God got me to Pittsburgh safely, and I am finally in my hotel room bed.
The roads were slick for the first hour, or son. Once I got on the Ohio Turnpike, then it was just a nightmarish downpour, which made driving a nightmare. There were times when I stopped at rest stop just to relax from the tension of driving in that stuff.
Then, I had hoped to pick up Sean and Rachel to go back to my hotel for a swim and take out lunch. That didn't happen, coz I couldn't reach Sean on the phone for about an hour. Then, as soon as I got off the Pennsylvania Turnpike I drove into a horrific traffic jam, and what should have taken 10 minutes took me 45, just to get to my hotel. Sean and Rachel didn't want to go back to my hotel for a swim, so we ate at his house.
After I got back to my hotel, I put on my bathing suit, and went to the front desk to get help with the lamps in the room, and that the ice machine on my floor wasn't working, and found out that the pool and jacuzzi were closed because somebody had an accident. Argh. Then, I went to wrap the Christmas presents I brought into the room and realized I left the wrapping paper in the car. No way was I getting dressed again to go out in the rain again.
Please pray I find the locket Colleen and I bought for Mom. It has the word "Gigi" in it. Mom calls herself that around the Munchkins, because she is the Great-Grandmother. GG. I wanted to wrap that, and thought it was in my bags.
No luck finding my MedicAlert bracelet. Someone on Facebook suggested writing my info and putting it in my wallet near my medical insurance cards. I got it online at MedicAlert.com. They keep a database with all my medical information in it, along with doctors' numbers, family emergency numbers, and the bracelet has my MedicAlert number on it. All an ER has to do is contact MedicAlert with my number, and they can treat me knowing everything. I have to order a new one ASAP, and just trust the Lord that nothing will happen between now and when it arrives.
I hope everyone had a good day.
Love,
Trish
