Okay you either got to laugh or cry at these things. I am taking my third walk of the evening just sort of shuffling along. And right as we get to the very furtherest point away from the room the first bowel cramp strikes! Holy crap. (LOL!) But Butch helped me get back to the room in just the nick of time. Thank goodness. Ok so I did my job. Maybe they will let me go home tomorrow.

Vickie,

I hope you get to feeling better.  It does seem as we have more and more things in common.   I am so happy you are up in your room some.  I had a total abdominal hysterectomy when I still weighed over 300 pounds and they would not have done it if I had not started bleeding like crazy.   Even though I was in the hospital for a week, wouldn't you know it, when I went home, and after my husband left for work, I started gushing blood out of my incision.  Long story short, I had a massive infection, two little bleeders kept oozing blood into who knows where until the blood had to come somewhere so it gushed out of my incision…back to the doctor's office where they, you got it…ripped it open and put in drains.  They didn't want to risk putting me to sleep for such a MINOR surgery. LOL.   Of course, it also meant my DH had to pack my incision every day with these hellasious gauze until the incision healed from the inside out…and it did rather quickly.  Like within a week.

I hate that you have had the bleeding problem but I am glad they caught it in the hospital.   Now, you are going to roll your eyes but when you get home, don't lift the babies for a while…give yourself time to heal.   But you, like me, have a first rate hubby who will keep the babies entertained.

Get to feeling better quickly and while I am not a praying person, you are in my thoughts and I do wish you well.
