WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY?????
WOW this thread has been SLOW lately!!! How come?? I know its a busy time of year and all but gee I miss you all!!!!
Went and did some Christmas shopping today...I THINK I am all done now!!!! Just need to buy the hams for the tenants dinner on the 17th and then I am DONE!!!!!!!!!!
Watching the Ohio State and ichigan game right now....(not allowed to use the letter "M" right now lol) Score is tied so far...GOOOO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My tree looked so pretty last night in the dark all lit up!! WOW!!! So tomorrow I put up the one in the big clubhouse then when I have time I will put the other one up. I bought some pointsetta's for the club houses and got nice ones really cheap at walmart!! $3.67 in a 6" pot. Those will go on the tables for decoration and then at the party I will raffle them off...;-)
Need to get a couple more little gifts for tenants to give the at the party...also need to wrap them all up!!! :-/ All by myself...they just do not know what kind of work I do for them on MY time. Some are very grateful but the snobs....which I am hoping they again stay home...are just that...SNOBS!!!!!!! NOTHING I do is RIGHT in their book. Their loss if you ask me.
Well best get to putting things away here and then watch the rest of the game.

I was so crazy busy, the only computer time I had was to check out a site my Christopher put as his Christmas Wish. It's an interesting site, where people can buy gift cards. The recipients then go back to the site to donate the money to any charity in a huge list. Most I recognized. Of course, he decides this is what he wants after I bought stuff off his Amazon Wish List. Argh! Now, I wish I'd thought of it first.
Today, I made a trip to the laundromat. My feet are killing me, so I have them up for a little while. Then, I have a ton of stuff to do in this place. Cleaning, cooking, rearranging. I bought a six foot, pre-lit tree yesterday. I was only going to use a table top tree again, but Colleen and Trent put up a live, big tree this week. On Thursday, Colleen and I were looking at the ads, and when I mentioned a four foot tree, she said, "Mom, go big, or go home." I thought about it. Last time I had a large tree was in 2001, and I missed it. Now that I have the Munchkins to visit, I'm gonna figure out where to put the tree.

Hi Trish...you will love the bigger tree!!! This year I put up my 71/2 foot slim tree...fits right by the fireplace and still near the window for people to see it from outside...when I no longer go home for Christmas I am going to buy a REAL tree again. Just for the simple reason I no longer have a crab ass husband that complained everytime we went to cut one down!!!! Rick loves to do these things and I am so Blessed to have found him!!! Or should I say he found me? It really was him that found me in a Nascar chat room years ago...;-) It has been about 12? years we have talked now and been living together for almost 6 years now. Gosh time sure flies!!!! Seems like only a couple years ago!!! LOL
We are not doing gifts for the family this year. Our gift is our going back to ichigan and paying the gas and room for a couple days.
Enjoy your family...and have fun trying to figure out what to do on gifts...haha
