Good morning everyone.....
Pretty quiet for it being almost noon. Guess everyone is out shopping for bargains. I never go and fight the Black Friday crowds. My body and wallet can't handle it!
Today I finally go to get my key and the apartment is all mine!!! I am so excited!! I wish someone could help be move this weekend but, everyone is just too busy.
Today is my SIL, Greg's Birthday. I am sure they will be going somewhere tonight for dinner with friends or even his family. They wanted me to come down but, I want to get things over to my apartment as soon as possible. Plus, I don't want to drive in that mess of traffic down there!!

Evening OFF family...gosh I am pooped!!!!!! Trying to rest yet the phone keeps ringing...don't these people read their messages I give them that we are CLOSED til MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guess the only way to get any rest is to leave town!!! Which we can't afford right now!!!!
Got our tree up this afternoon...blue and clear lights on it and my blue and white snowmen and some other snowmen decorations along with my horse ones and horse stuff...and some snowflakes added on also. Looks really nice if I do say so myself!!! :-)
BIG Game on tomorrow...Ohio State against Michigan....GOOOO BUCKEYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now you all know what I will be doing at noon...lol.
Arm and back are sore. Wonder why? All this work I have been doing when I am supposed to be resting....gezzz. Dr asked if I was making cookies to bring in to share...LMAO like I have time and energy to mix up cookies and then MAKE them besides??? I think he needs to ask someone that is a stay at home do nothing person to make the cookies to share with clients til Christmas...maybe IF my arm and back were not so darn sore I MIGHT think about it.
Went to the bank today to cash our paychecks...went by walmart...OMG they were packed beyond packed!!! Told Rick glad we were not going there for anything!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!
Nothing else happening right now so that is it for me...where is everybody??? Been slow for a long time now.

Hello Judy....put more signs on your doors and don't answer when they knock. Don't answer their phone calls!! You need that break!! Don't allow them to infringe on your personal time. Unless it is a major emergency, it can wait until Monday.

I refused to even go to a store of any kind today or the rest of the weekend. I hate how people act over material things. I wish they had that much energy for other causes!!
The thread sure has been slow lately. Maybe people don't want to comment on my posts?? I wish they would come back!!

Oh Connie, that is certainly not true. Of all the folks on this board, you are the least polarizing and the most loved. I don't usually post on this thread because, well, you know. I am so, so, so happy you are in your apartment and cannot wait to see you blossom into a more confident and happy woman. You deserve to be happy my dear friend.

I'm sorry, I've been busy and just haven't had much of a chance to post. I'm so happy you finally will get an apartment. I know you've been waiting for one. Geez, if I had to live with someone, I'd go crazy. I've been on my own since 1982 ... no roommates or anybody but my cats. I like my solitary life. Don't have to answer to anyone unless I want to.
No shopping for me, either. I'm buying gift cards. I can do that right before Christmas and email them out.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi. Just finishing up at work on a Saturday night.
