Happy Wednesday everyone!!
Good evening everyone!!
I had no idea that no one would have posted yet today. It is almost 6:30 PM here.
I have had a crazy day too. I was backing out of my parking spot and crash!! Some idiot was parked in the No Parking Area right behind my car!! There is never anyone in that area. I just didn't expect it. Now we both have scratched up bumpers....grrrrr!! I know who it is and he was really nice about it. We will discuss it next week after the Thanksgiving holiday. I called my insurance company and let them know I wouldn't be getting an estimate until Monday or Tuesday. They are all cool with that. I have such a great agent!!
I had all kinds of paperwork to complete because of the move. I needed to make 41 copies of information for one place!! Pam doesn't have a printer that works. I had to go elsewhere. It took forever! I couldn't believe how many people that needed copies today. There were long lines at the USPS too!!!
It was 4:30 PM and I realized I hadn't eaten any lunch. Oh what a day!!
I am still up on cloud nine just so happy to be moving!!
I am probably just staying here tomorrow. I was invited to my daughter's BFFs house but I don't want to be out driving in that traffic! Especially in the Twin Cities!! I was invited to four other places around here. I am just too overtired to care. I need to make lists of what all I have here so I can get it moved to the new place Saturday or Sunday! My parking permit runs out on the November 30th. There is no on street parking in this town from November 1st to March 31th. There is not enough parking in this lot as it is!! Thus people park in illegal parking places and risk getting towed away! I would do that and get towed for sure!!
Wishing you all a lovely evening!! Prayers for those in need. Special requests as well.
Happy Thanksgiving!! For those traveling keep safe!!
Much love and many hugs to all.....connie d
Hi Connie...just getting around here to see what is happening...been up since 6am doing Thanksgiving dinner for these tenants here. Had 24 people show up and that included me, Rick and Jason. Both turkeys were good and not much left over. Lots of NICE tenants there and the SNOBS stayed home!!!! :-) Made for a really nice day!!! Also had LOTS of help cleaning up!!! I hardly had to do anything!!!!! :-) Now to make plans for Christmas dinner on the 17th of December. I am POOPED!!!!! LOL
Well Rick wants to go to the store for some beer...be back later maybe...if not HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Good Evening Connie, Judy and Everyone Else,
I am finally sitting down at the computer at 10:30 pm
First, Colleen and I drove to Okemos, near Lansing, to Meijer. I picked up some stuff on sale, and had fun watching Lincoln ride the horse ride for a penny.
Then, I had to drive to Owosso, another half hour away, in another direction, to get my car registered, before it runs out on the 30th. I also went to Kroger, and picked up stuff I forgot at Meijer.
Then, I peeled and cored apples for a deep dish apple pie I'm baking right now for tomorrow. I put them in lemon water so they don't turn brown. Then, I went to Taco Bell, picked up supper for Colleen, the kids and me. Went to her house to eat, and watch the kids. They were in rare form, and I confess, I did not handle some of their antics properly. Finally, we got their jammies on, and watched my Charlie Brown Christmas DVD.
Trent came home, and the kids were thrilled to see him. He'd been gone since Monday. They adore him. Yet, when I was leaving, Frankie kept clinging to me. I had to keep redirecting him back to Trent.
When I got home at 8z;30, I finished making my pie. Once it was in the oven, I made my homemade cranberry sauce. I made a triple batch, coz I was told that there could be over 20 people. It only has three ingredients. Cranberries, sugar and water.
I have to go get the pie out of the oven.
Love to all,
Trish
