Thursday in Michigan
Vickie,
It sounds like a yummy supper. I'll tell you my secret about baking potatoes in the oven. I first microwave them for about five minutes on high. Then I put them in the oven. If I want a crunchy skin, I put them in the oven unwrapped. If I want a moist skin, I wrap with aluminum foil. Usually, after I microwave them, it takes about a half hour, give or take. Basically, using the microwave cuts the oven time. As for fresh green beans, I absolutely love them. When I was a kid, Mom had a garden, and we'd pick the beans for dinner that night. While I trimmed the stems off, I'd be munching on them before they were cooked. I thought that was weird till I saw a veggie tray with cut raw green beans on it. Finally, someone likes them raw too.
Love ya,
Trish
