Munching and Moving
Dear Susan,
Please take over the what you are eating! I love posting on the what we are eating and posting on how we are moving, but I hate starting the two posts.
So, moving for me was treadmill walking and Yoga. And, I am fighting a flea infestation and my old cat is allergic to the fleas and the flea meds so I am killing the fleas the old fashioned way: mopping, cleaning, mopping, and more cleaning. I put flea medicine on the other three cats but use natural oils on the one allergic after giving her a warm bath in dawn dish soap and combing all four like a crazy woman.
Anyway, the food:
Breakfast: Oatmeal again--I was so tired of raw food and the oatmeal is very good
Snack: Lovely yellow bellpeppers
Lunch: beans and carrots
Snack: hummus and celery
Dinner: cooked carrots and peas and mashed winter squash
Snack: celery
Oh Jeannie...we are also fighting fleas...both LilyRose and Oreo have been invested and they never go outside. Seems most likely that the fleas jumped onto JB's clothes when he was out feeding the ferals. Poor LilyRose was so distressed that she would come to me to be picked up and would hang like a little ragdoll over my shoulder...I'd rock her and sing to her and she would purr and sleep for over an hour..that is so NOT her. She lost about four pounds (given that she WAS 18 pounds, that's not necessarily a bad thing) DemonSeed wasn't as upset but clearly didn't feel well. I used Oil of Oregano and tea tree oil on them both..they both now smell like pizza....and, as you, we are vacuuming and spraying natural essence oils and repeating several times/day.
Breakfast: hot chocolate protein drink
Snack: banana and a cup of ho****er and lemon slices
Lunch: homemade meatball & tomato soup
Snack: ho****er and lemon slices
Supper: 1/4 cup mushroom risotto and peas plus 1 Dutch beef croquette
Snack: small fat-free, sugar-free yogurt (shared w/ LilyRose)
