Halloween Happiness

Good Morning OFF Family,

Sorry I've been AWOL the past few days.  I've been at Colleen's a lot, visiting with Mom and Sis.  Mom's got Colleen and tense wreck, and Isabel had a slight meltdown last night while we were babysitting coz Colleen had her class to teach, and Trent was still away.  Her school had a police assembly about lockdown drills, and someone reminded her about the Sandy Hook school shooting last year.  She was so upset, every little thing had her in tears.  I was able to get her to calm down and tell me what was upsetting her, and reassure her that God loves her and is watching over her.  We had a huge hug.

Today, Trent will be home to take the kids Trick or Treating, while I bring Mom here to watch some shows she wants to catch up on.  Then, I'll take her back to Colleen's so she can play Scrabble with Trent.

I'm making dinner tonight, because Colleen has two parties to help with at each of the kids' schools, plus there is supposed to be a parade, but it's raining right now.  Praying it stops for the parade and tonight.

had a post already to go and the ipad decided to go to a different area! I hate that!!!!! 

I sm getting a new dishwasher today! It is a bosch. At least it wont leak all over my kitchen!!!! And it is way quiet!!!!!

Trish your mother sounds like my sister is. If it isnt her way,Its the highway! Always treating me at least like im a two yr old!!!!

Hi Trish and Carla and my OFF family:

Not much going on here ... we are getting rain. It's a dark and stormy Halloween. Back to work today. I had a busy couple days of doctors' appointments and fighting with Louisiana bureaucrats over my car title and not paying taxes I don't owe. 

The good news was my landlord lowered my rent $25. Most place raise it after a year. Guess I'll stay here. 

Baseball season is officially over. Watched the World Series end last night, then read for awhile and slept fairly well. 

Well, have a good day. Back to work tonight.

Trish....sounds like you have been very busy. Love how you settled Isabel down...that is precious. Have fun watching movies with your mom. Glad Trent will be home to take the kids out Trick or Treating. That is too much for me these days....you would of had to do it if he wasn't there.  Hope things are going well for you. This can be a stressful time.

Carla....hope you enjoy your new dishwasher. I love how they make them so quiet now.

Eileen....hope you have a good day!! How are the knees doing? better I hope.

As for me....I need to get going. I have RXs to pick up and a couple other quick stops to make. I want to get home before the rain starts! I went to see my pain doctor/surgeon yesterday. It was a follow up. I was telling him that I still had a sore area in my leg. He checked it and said they did miss an area. Now I will be having more surgery. He is also ordering x-rays of my knees. They are just now starting to hurt again. I had SINVISC injected in them years ago. It is finally needing more of the same....well anyway...one kind or the other. I had great luck with Sinvisc so I hope to go with that one again. Always something with me!!
