Hello to Monday!
Good Morning Carla and OFF-
11:45 EST and no one has posted, we must all be busy with fall chores.
I'm staging things to load in the car but won't load the car until Thursday or Friday, have to drive to Bangor on Wednesday to the dentist. The cat of course is getting nervous but I'm used to that and I bought him a pherenome collar to wear that is supposed to calm him.
My neighbor came over today and helped with the remainder of the heavy lifting in the yard shutdown. Now all I have to do is pack clothes, empty medicine cabinet and kitchen cabinets into the staging bags. I use all the cloth grocery bags to stage things for the car. I have three huge plastic totes that fit in the car that I load the food and cleaning supplies into.
Hopefully today I will get the last of three baby quilts pieced and sandwiched. The other three will have to be done when I get to Texas. Just ran out of time.
Well, the sun is finally peeping out of the clouds so I will close and start a load of laundry. Easy packing, take out of dryer, folder and put in suitcases.
Positive thoughts to all of you in need especially Nan H., Nan B and Jennifer. Judy glad Rick liked the new bird. Eileen glad you got some OT for that paycheck. Vickie hope you're having fun taking your Mom to the various places to look at them. You know how to contact me if you have any questions. HUGS to everyone.

Good Morning Carla and OFF,
Congratulations on Lavinnia's naming. I love all her names. When I named Colleen, I gave her my first name as her middle name. It means Girl of Noble Birth. Colleen is Gaelic for girl, and Patricia means of noble birth.
I just got home from watching kids at church so Colleen and some of her friends could have a Bible study. Then I stopped at Colleen's to drop off Frankie's diapers and wipes, because she forgot them at church.
This afternoon, I have my Bible study to do for tomorrow night. Both Colleen's group and mine are doing the same study. The young moms can't do the evening study because they have little ones to put to bed, so that's why they meet in the morning.
I also need to finish planting my bulbs. I'm so looking forward to them blooming in the Spring. That, and the Munchkins, will get me through the cold, drab Winter.
Must scoot.
Hugs,
Trish

Good afternoon Carla and everyone.....
Carla...I too love your granddaughter's names....so beautiful! It sounds like you had a really large gathering. I am sure it was a beautiful ceremony!! Have a safe trip home. I know how anxious you are to get home and in your own bed. I do know what you mean about"there is nothing like your own bed".
Cindi....you are so busy!! I don't know how you do it all!! Hope the packing goes well. Prayers for a safe trip back to Texas ....soon!
There goes my memory again...I know one other person posted but I am drawing a blank. I am so sorry!!
I am so happy to have my computer back!!! Hopefully he got ALL the bugs out!! It sure is running faster!
I wish I was running faster!!! A lot of cold and rainy weather here. My body is not liking it much. I do have some errands to run and need to get ready and head out soon. I sure have missed everyone. I did read posts but didn't answer. Sorry but it is just too hard for me to post on a phone. Pam added me too her lease for now. I am still praying to move into my own place soon!! At least now I can park in the parking lot and not the street now. I will be 100% free from my sister as of November 1st. I will be getting my mail here instead.
I am wishing you all a wonderful day!! Prayers for many in need....special prayers for Annette and Nan and many others as well.
Much love and many hugs....connie d
Hello sistas! Bringing up the rear tonight. Had a very busy day with Mom and this is the first chance I've had to sit at the computer all day.
Went for my bone density scan first thing this morning. Easy peasy. Wish all medical tests were that quick and painless.
Then Mom and I went all over New Braunfels looking at Senior living options. We looked at about 6 places, toured 3 of them, and there really was only one that she really did like, but it's a great place. I liked it too. But it's not a senior place. It's a very lovely compound of patio homes/condos with attached garages, beautiful grounds, and in a very good location. She's just not ready to move into a senior living facility. Okay. If I can just get her to move down here near me, we can probably cover most situations. If I'm not in town, Christie will be, and Carrie is only 2 hours away.
So, the good news is that it's RAINING here all this week! The bad news is that I have a roof leak! ARGH! And of course, Butch is not coming home for two more weeks. He's supposed to call me tomorrow and we can talk about it then. If we were back in Nacogdoches, I would know who to call. I don't know anyone to call here. Sigh.
Well, this ol' Mimi is 'bout ready for bed. Mike is spending the night, so I don't have to help Chris with the boys tonight. Thank goodness. I can just put on my jammies and go to bed.
I read all the posts, but I can't think what to write except I'm glad Connie got her computer back and working again! I'll try to do better tomorrow.
Love you all!
