SUNDAY MORNING...WHAT'S UP??????

So its been a busy weekend so far for me...had company yesterday all day and we had a "family" birthday party for Rick. His mom and aunt Nita came with the baby ****atiel. Worked out great that Rick had an emergency call to plunge a toilet...LOL So they arrived while he was busy and we got the bird into the cage and all set up without him knowing what was going on!!! The bird is very pretty...has some grey, white and yellow with some orange colored cheeks. I want to call him "Doc" because Rick is always asking "what's up" LOL But not sure if that will be his name or not...its his bird not mine. Rick came in and saw his mom and aunt here...that he knew was going to be...then he saw the bird cage uncovered...OMG you got me my bird after all!!!!!!!!! LOL So YES he is happy!! He has been talking to it a lot and the bird is very friendly. Hope he stays like this!!! Settled in fast to his new cage and surroundings. As for the parakeets...they are curious to their new neighbor!!! LOL Bandit looks but he doesn't care...YET.
Went to Bingo last night...chances after chances is all I had. Drat!!!!! Maybe next week...if no wins I am done for awhile. Have bills to pay instead of throwing it away at bingo every week.
Beef Roast for supper tonight...yummmmm!!!!!! Carol (tenant that lives behind us) said she was cooking hers today also...this building is gonna smell GOOOOOOOOOD all day with two roasts cooking!!!!
Need to do laundry soon because I for one am running out of clean undies!!! LOL Rick said he can turn his inside out to get double wear!!! OMG why are men like that?????? EWWWW!!!!
So that is it for me today...enjoy the nice weather that is left...heard cold weather is here this week ...again!!!! Fall will be here and then winter. YUCK!!!! NOT looking forward to the cold!!!!!!

Bill does it one better, He says he can get 4, inside out, than turn around and than right side out. Thankfully he is kidding.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
I KNOW I am bad about posting, but I do read everyday, and feel like I know many of you so well. I post in my mind, but need to get better about putting my thoughts into my computer!!

Today is my oldest son's birthday........can't believe he'll be 40 somthing! Yikes! Happily I will be at the hospital testing the hearing on the babies born on his birthday. It is so hard to imagine him as a brand new baby.....so tiny. Today he's 6'5" tall and buff!! Ha. I'm going to text him with the picture of a baby born today...that will be fun.
It is still dark outside here at 5:36 a.m. so I'll be driving to work in the dark. My two kitties, Poki and Nicki, always know when I'm off to work....they stay close to my feet and watch me leave with sadness....ha. So spoiled are my two little feline friends.
Hopefully you all have a good day, and that something wonderful happens that you can report tomorrow. For those of us who are dealing with physical problems, I'm sending loving hugs that you each feel better today.

ALOHA Karen!!! I sound happy today?? LOL ok if you say so...I guess I am not in as MUCH pain as before but it STILL hurts!!! Chiro dr is doing me good...my neck doesn't sound like it is grinding when I turn it now so that IS good!!

Belated Happy Birthday to Rick. I'm glad his Mom finally came through for him. Glad he likes his ****atiel.
I overslept and missed church. I am just exhausted. Spent yesterday ridding my bedroom of all of Utley's shedding. Aggravated my sinuses to no end. Then, I stayed up to watch the playoffs.
Today, I have more tulip bulbs to plant. Plus, I need to tackle the living room and kitchen, which look like a tornado hit them.
Must scoot.

Thankyou Trish from Rick...his birthday is the 17th though...same as my surgiversery (sp) :-) He LOVES his new bird...not sure if the bird likes me or not as he keeps trying to bite me...lol BUT it could be he is just trying to get on my hand is all...me...I am scared of birds...LOL
