Good Morning Friday!
Good Morning!
Im finally up this morning! I got back from Michigan last night around 11pm. I was going to stay overnight but I got to much to do with having the babys naming on Sunday.
I went to my hometown to see some friends. I had to have a day to myself!!!!!
we might be leaving for home on the 16th. Im ready!
Good morning Carla and all my OFF sistas!
Up and at 'em this morning. Cleaning and laundry are the chores of the day. Oh, and a quick trip to the store this afternoon. Lots to do before I go to pick up my mom this weekend.
My friend Candace had her surgery yesterday and came through it just fine. She and another friend of mine, Pam, who is considering having the surgery, both say they are going to join us here. I hope so! I sing the praises of OFF to anyone who will listen.
Carla, little Vinnie is just so pretty. I know you have enjoyed your time with her. Every morning I pick up little Reesey and just fall in love all over again. Babies are just little angels sent straight from Heaven.
Not much news to report today. I need to get moving. So many chores await!
Love you all!
Hi everyone, it has been awhile since I have checked in. A lot has changed. I am single again after 22 years of marriage. It has been rough but I am surviving. I moved and live in a house. I have 2 spoiled cats that I adopted from the shelter. I like living in the city, haha. It is different having to do everything yourself. Have a great weekend. Mona

Nothing tastes as good as thin feels!
I feel you! My ex always said he would leave me if I ever got over 200, I never told him my wight, when he figured it out he did leave. Didn't matter he looked 10 months prego
So after 21 years of marriage I got traded in for a 20 something.
I have a wonderful DH now that treats me right and Loves me, Fat or not. Along with him I have two spoiled dogs, a cat and 7 parrots (we just lost one.) Along with many many out side animals.
Don't be a stranger! I so remember you from the band boards.
Good Afternoon Everyone,
My plans got all turned around today. Colleen needed me to watch Frankie for an hour, out near where Lincoln goes to speech therapy. So, we went to Petsmart, and he loved seeing all the critters there. Then, I went over to Walmart nearby, and walked around, with him singing to me. After she picked him up, I stopped at the laundromat to wash my good comforter and blanket. Tomorrow, I rid my bedroom of as much dog hair as possible.
When I got back to town, I stopped at the hair place and got a trim, from the girl who last cut my hair. Now, I'm chilling with my feet up, before I head to Colleen's for dinner, and to watch Frankie again, so they could go see a play done by the local players.
Tomorrow may actually go as planned.

Good Evening Carla and OFF-
Carla- glad you got some time away. Hope the naming ceremony goes well and that you are able to return to your own bed soon.
Vickie- glad you're getting away again to get your mother. Good luck with the senior facility hunting.
Debbie - hope your friend is doing well.
Nan - thanks for thinking about all of us even though your not feeling well.
Nan (Canada) - good to see your post.
Jennifer - I am pleased that they are moving faster to schedule your meeting with a surgeon, I don't think I would have the patience to wait a long time to get answer. Spend the weekend writing all your questions down on a piece of paper and consider taking a friend with you to listen.
Trish- Hope tomorrow is more on schedule than today.
I wrote a very long and philosophical post yesterday and it disappeared into the vapor, so I'm not going to try that today.
Had my mammogram today and went to get my back adjusted at the chiropracter. Tomorrow I get to play town librarian and then will come home to start piling things up into piles to be packed in the car. I will be donating some things to the local food pantry as it is senseless to transport some of the stuff to Texas.
Government is of course still shutdown. I head first to NH to see my doctors. Then to NC to check on Mom. Depending on what happens with the shutdown, I may linger there longer than planned. I am allowed to park the RV on the refuge but I won't be able to work. Of course there is always the book project to keep me occupied so I guess I'll still head to Texas but maybe not as fast as originally planned.
To our Canadian friends, Happy Thanksgiving on Monday. To everyone in pain or need of a hug you're in my thoughts.
