Hi y'all, it's Tuesday
Hello my OFF family:
I didn't get much sleep at all. I dozed for a half hour twice and then got up. Finally got out of bed at 6 a.m. and came out into the living room. I have PT today at 11 a.m. and then I'm off today. Thought about a movie, but I think I might just come back home. There is this thing here in Evansville called the Fall Festival ... it's basically a food-a-rama, but I wanted to check it out. There are healthier options. (There are a lot of deep-fried stuff, but I can't eat that stuff at all ... doesn't agree with me, so I will skip that altogether.) I don't know if I will go to the fall festival; depends on how I feel.
I had a lot of leg cramps last night, which is what kept me up. And then when I got out of bed, my right leg would start to give out on me. Hate that. Boy, we sure have lots of problems, don't we?
I have the day off so I'm glad I don't have anything much planned. Have a good day everyone. I read most everyday, just don't have a lot of time to post. Been busy with work and kinda depressed at times. In pain and tired a lot.

Eileen, I'm sorry you have been feeling down and in pain. Don't let the blue funk get ya! It never does any good for anyone anyway.
I'm getting ready for my GYN appt. Okay, sistas, I hear you loud and clear. Take care of me for a change. I know you're right. It's just when I get down, the whole family seems to fall apart. I'm the caretaker. But I really don't want to have the ablation. I want the hysterectomy. I have several scenarios to talk over with her this morning. Still haven't been able to talk to Butch, but that's okay. I know he'll support my decision. It's just a matter of timing everything. Always a challenge with his work schedule anyway, and now with the new baby and retirement looming, it's just complicated as all get out. But we'll manage to work something out.
My dentist appointment yesterday was LONG. He did 2 fillings and a crown. Seemed to take forever, and when I finally got out of there, I realized it was 2 1/2 hours! No wonder. I still need one more crown this fall before I lose my dental insurance after Butch retires. Going broke trying to afford my teeth! LOL! Golly this crap is so expensive, even with dental insurance.

I have pumpkin bread cooking in the oven and boy does it smell good. New recipe so I hope it turns out good. Not much going on today which is just fine with me. Working on a quilt for my MIL for her 90th birthday on Nov. 1st.

Vickie I had the ablation and so wish I could have done it 20 years sooner put they weren’t doing it than. I didn’t want a hysterectomy and put it off until they had another option. Glad I did.
Debbie I’ll be over for pumpkin bread. WOW 90 years old, how is she doing mentally?
My DD called this am to see if I wanted to get away from Bill for a couple hours and get lunch and shop. I had to run the dog to the groomer first. She had gotten so matted while I have been busy I couldn’t get them out or even get the clippers thru.
I did find some shorts and Capris for Disney, wait for it, wait for it, in a size 12! I haven’t been a size 12 since sixth grade. Granted the sizes are nothing the same. I was looking at a size 2 and I was telling the DD there are about what a 8 was when I was growing up.
BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

Eileen it is nice to see you start the thread today. I have been worried about you. So sorry you are still in pain. Has your doctor given you any idea what else he can do for you. Sorry you have been depressed. I have been too. I just make myself do something every day. I would rather shut out the whole world.
Vickie....I have been praying that you get good news at your appointment. I had my hysterectomy at 28. I haven't missed it!! Chris may have to find friends to help out while she works. Hope you get it all worked out. HUGS!!
Debbie....I am sure your MIL will love her quilt. She must be doing well to be living so well at 90. Good for her!! How is Robin doing?
Pine...I am embarrassed as I can't remember what you wrote...so sorry! I am just so fuddled these days! I care....I really do.
As for me....still not feeling great from my sinus infection. I did manage to get to the bank and then to pick up some items at WalMArt. I am so weak right now I am having trouble typing.

Connie, the physical therapist did the traction again today and it helped somewhat. But when I try to do my exercises, my back hurts again. Or my leg cramps up. I think the cramps and spasms are coming from my back. I go back to the doctor at the end of the month.
Hope you can kick the sinus infection.

Eileen I had a Charlie horse this morning about 6 am OMG it HURT!!!!!! I even ate an apple before bed last night!!! That is supposed to keep them away...yeah right!!!!! I drink a full bottle of water before bed also...so WTH???
Didn't hear back from my case worker on my pap test today...see yesterdays post I made answering Jennifer's post last night. GRRRRRR!!!!!!! Arm is VERY sore today from that BP machine!!!
Not much happening here except me doing recerts again...got 3 new ones to start on. Will I ever get a chance to get away????? NOOOOOOOO not with all that happens here and me going to chiro 3 times a week and just no time for anything!!!!! Sighs. Seems its all dr appointments for me lately.
Well it is time for me to fix some supper so better get going before Rick yells that all I do is play on PC...LOL

Eileen have you tried the chiropracter. Sounds like that would give you relief is the PT is applying traction and it's helping.
Connie and Eileen sorry you're feeling down. I think it's the time of the year and also the uncertainty with our government.
Debbie - Wonderful that you are doing a quilt for your Mom's 90th. What size is it.
Piney - Glad you got out today with your DD.
Today was our last Mah Jongg. I have to say that I'm relieved that we're done for the summer. I've gotten better over the summer but I also have lost patience with some of the ladies.
Tomorrow I have to drive to Bangor again. It will be my last visit with the psychologist. Car needs a major service so I'll be spending the day in Bangor. Having dinner with a WLS friend and then drive home after dark. Will definately take my time so I don't encounter Morris the Moose or Doreen the Deer or Boris the Bear. Of course there's also the porcupine and raccoon to avoid.
Hope everyone else is doing okay. Vickie, I'll wait to hear about your visit to the doctor. Positive thoughts to all of you. Nan you're in my thoughts.
