Nan....I am so glad that you do have some good days in between. I am happy your son will be home soon. I know how much you will love having him there.

Do you walk with a cane or a walker? I keep my cane near by...somedays I need it and it helps me feel more secure in walking.

I constantly have you in my prayers. I know God is listening.

I too wish I could have met you....we will one day...the good Lord willing.

Carla....I am sorry you are having a hard time sleeping on that bed. I want my comfy bed so bad!!

The baby is doing great sleeping five hours through at that age. She must be very happy and content!!

Sorry they had to change the date for the naming. I hope it is soon or you won't be able to stay. Hope it all works out for you.

As for me....I thought yesterday was bad until today!! I couldn't get any heat from my car heater today. I also had a turn signal burn out yesterday. I went to my favorite shop....been going there for many, many years. Paul looked at it...nothing can be simple for me....NOPE.....the water pump is going out. Tomorrow morning they will be putting a new one in, flushing the system and whatever. The estimate was $300....YUP...just swell!! I cried and cried some more. I then contacted my daughter, Carrie. They are going to pay for it for me. Carrie said that is the least we can do for all you do for us. I had no idea where else to get the money. I HATE living like this!! I really don't know how much more I can take! I just keep praying and hoping things will get better for me soon. Sorry...more whining from me.

Just wanted to pop in and see how everyone is doing.  DH came home from knee surgery Sunday.  He is still really messed up in the head.  The doc said the General can bring out latent dementia symptoms.  He was having short term memory issues before surgery.  He had been a real mess since.  I was told by a PT that she worked in a nursing home and it can take 3 weeks to straighten out.  I will just be glad if it does.

PT kicked his butt Wednesday and than he had potty issues since surgery.  We tried to fix it and things got worse.  I wanted to go to ER but he didn't so called doc in the am. Spent the day at docs and after X-rays showed he was "full of ****" and not Blocked, I had thought things had gone the other way.  So after 2 days of no sleep not going and 18 straight hours of fluid running without control, we got thing right and he went to  for 4 hours.  

Hopefully he will be 100% tomorrow for PT.
