Good Oct 1st morning!

Good morning sistas!

Turn your calendars over!  It's October!  Actually this is a little game that Butch and I play when he is gone.  Once we can turn the calendar over and "see" the date he is scheduled to come home, it makes the time go faster for us.  Now I can "see" Oct 16th on the calendar and it feels so much closer than yesterday, when all I could see was September.

Up and dressed and getting ready to go to my GYN appointment this morning.  I'll post later and let you all know what she says about my having a hysterectomy later this month.  I'm ready to get the ball rolling.  Hope I can get it all scheduled the way I need it for when Butch is home.

It's been a zoo around here last night and this morning.  I won't bore you with all the details except to say that I don't feel like I have any privacy or even a place to retreat to in my own house anymore.  I was getting pretty depressed about it all, but our sweet Cindi B is a lifesaver!  She suggested I go see Carrie in Waco this weekend, and bam! I immediately felt better.  I don't know why I didn't think of that on my own!  So I called Carrie, who said, "sure, Mom, c'mon" and now I feel like I can breathe again, knowing I have an escape route planned for Friday.  I just need some space, you know?  And some time to regroup without a crying toddler or a crying newborn hanging on me.  (And without Baby Daddy wandering in and out of my bedroom!)  Like I said, it's been a zoo around here.

Not much time this morning, but I'll check back in with you all this afternoon.  Hope everyone is doing well today.  Looking forward to hearing about everyone's day.  I just love you all!

Vickie.....what a wonderful idea to go see Carrie!! That will be the boost you need. Cindi is a smart cookie!! Now you have something to look forward to and something you will really enjoy too!! Carrie always brightens your day!! You need to post a sign on your bedroom door...."If Your Name Isn't Butch You Are Not Allowed!!! Still praying that your appointment goes well today.  

I am going to make myself go out to storage today. I need to take some things out and bring some other things back. I only have shorts and 2 pairs of capri pants here. I need some longer pants and some sweatshirts. It is getting colder now. I hate the cold!!

I need to go find a couple of boxes today. I have some things to mail to Amanda, Nic, and Gracie. Just odds and ends I get on sale when I see something they like.  I see things on sale or clearance. When I get enough I send it. They all enjoy their little surprises. I see Kyleigh and Lucas a lot. I cam give them theirs. Pam always has plenty to give them all too!!

Morning all!

Well Carmel is beautiful as always! It's so hard to see my girlfriend going thru so much pain. She still can't move her foot and I pray it's not permanent. She is getting better everyday. I just want to fix it!!

Connie, get your warmer clothes girl. you'll be so happy you did. Me I love the cold weather. For some reason the heat hurts my arthritis more than the cold...go figure!

Vickie, have fun with Carrie. I hope the next two weeks fly by for you.

Well my oldest will be 21 on Friday. Not sure where the time went. So very proud of my 2 children. They have there heads on straight and have common sense, which to me is something your not taught you just have. Steve and I are so blessed in this life.

Afternoon OFF family!!!

Sorry I have been missing but its been crazy here...boss was here yesterday and talked about going computer first of the year. I will be trained online and using the phone also while in training. I do NOT have to drive to Lorain for the training!!! WOOOHOOO!!! Also she said we are going to be getting a SUBSTANCIAL raise soon!!!! I am sooooooo excited!!! Said we are doing fantastic and the owner is VERY happy with us!!! She is still looking for a couple more people to manage some complexes. Asked if I knew anyone that would be interested. Not off hand. Said the ads were NOT getting any replies for the position!!! HUH??? All the people out of work and no replies?? Strange!!!! Job isn't hard at all...

Sun is finally out today. Looked like rain anytime but not anymore. YES!!!!!! 71* right now also. I will take it!!!!

Need to put up decorations for Halloween in other club house yet. I did this one today. Looks nice if I do say so myself.

Well that is it for me today.

Hi Vickie and my OFF family:

Up early today and back from having an epidural shot in my back. Boy, they give you lots of drugs there ... one moment they were putting soap on my back, next thing I knew, I was waking up and done. I'm very sleepy ... plus, I didn't have a lot of sleep last night.

We had a busy night at work, of course. Sports was busy as usual, but so was news ... with a big city council vote and the governmnet shutdown. 

Anyway, I'm really sleep so I'm going to bed. Have a  good day. 

Baby Lavinia and Mommy are home! We are having a baby naming in Sunday then maybe Carl and I are going home!!!

Can't believe it is the First of October already.

Bill came home Sunday night with his new knee.  He already has as much bend with it as the other knee that was replaced 7 years ago and never was right.  He also can almost stretch it out straighter than before.

The pain has been worse this time for him.  One reason my be he had general as opposed to spinal.  They asked what he wanted, which we weren't repaired for, and based on back issues I said general.  Than I found out General can uncover symptoms of Dementia.  Boy was Bill every messed up.  He is getting better now but it made for a hard recovery.
