Hi OFFr's,

Glad to see all the posts yesterday, go movement, big or small, it's do what you can. . .

Today I slept in, if you call sleeping until 5:35 sleeping in. . .  so I am meeting my friend Judy, who is Roxie's best friend's Mom, and Maggie (Roxie's friend), Roxie and I will take a nice hour long walk with the girls.  I've already downed 40 ounces, going for the next 16 now. . . 

Have a good day and get those decaf fluids in!!!

I gotta find the "moxie" or whatever it takes to get moving.  Haven't figured out how yet.  

It is still hot here but I will trrrryyyyy to take a walk around the neighborhood.  3 laps = 1mile.

Linda,

When it is so hot, it is hard to get motivated.  Do something simple...maybe walk extra in the store.  Take baby steps and soon you will be in the groove.

Laureen,

You are now a lifer...walking is routine for you.  Today, I did treadmill walking and slowly walked four miles.  I had my water on the cupholder and drank constantly because I have had another episode of quickly dehydrating.   I think it is time for me to have my lab work done.  

Tonight, I am going to do some really good Yoga and good news, I have found, I think, a new dance partner.   I am way excited...he is like 25, gay, and wears the cutest clothes ever, but he wants to learn ballroom dancing and I need a partner.  We are going to go to the studio and see if we are a good fit.

Hi Laureen, I didn't sleep in this morning I was up and wide awake at 4am. I tend to do as you I drink decaf to help get in my fluids. I drink Crystal Lite and decaf tea also. I don't like water but I try to drink it anyway. I'm doing good getting back on track and I am hopeful that the weight will come back off. I need to lose 25 to 30 pounds. I will be happy with 25. I had gotten to thin and believe me everyone let me know about it. I am starting to walk and I do what I can for now. Thank you for inviting me to Moving. Judy

Hello Lareen.....

I went for a 30 minute walk earlier this morning. It was chilly but it felt good.

I always get in at minimum 120 ounces of water. I really do like cold water!!

Today I got the solar cover off the pool dried out an rolled back up.  I also got all the new shed up but the roof. Helped DH with his leg exercise, getting ready for surgery Friday and running out of time to get everything done that takes two people.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
