Good morning everyone.....
I am so happy to get my car today. I sure miss knowing it is here when I want it!!
I called all the places and more about housing again yesterday. People just aren't moving. I am maybe one or two up on some lists not up at all on others. They said it will be at least another 6 months or more. I am just sick about it!!
I plan on going out for a walk when I am off the computer. It is good for me and it helps me think.
My thoughts and prayers are still with Nan and her family today. Prayers for many others as well.

Well my muscle area is really sore today yet...but my arm IS moving a bit more so hopefully this pain is a good thing!!!!
Nothing much happening here except Octoberfest starts tonight!!! Looking forward to going and getting me some Indian bread filled with GOOD stuff!!!! YUMMMMMM!!!!!!!
Bandit needs walking so better get off here and take him.

Waiting for housing is so hard to do. I had beautiful homes and a good life. Now I have to deal with this. I keep praying and calling....it is all I can do!!
Sorry your muscle is so sore today. Glad you can move it a bit better!

Indian Tacos at Octoberfest....who would have thunk it.
I was in Wyoming most of the summer and we often crossed into Montana. Southern Montana is The Crow Nation and we stopped at a couple of trading posts every time we were there just to get their Indian Tacos. They also served the Indian bread plain with soup or as desert with honey. The tacos was my favorite but it was good plain with soup too. I didn't indulge in the honey...would have been sick if I had. If I lived where it was served I would be in deep trouble. SOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD

Oh, Connie, I wish I could take a walk with you! We could talk things over and maybe figure out something to do about your housing situation. Poor darling! You are being tested in this area, that's for sure! But I agree with Judy, something WILL come open soon. Patience sweetie!

Judy, I'm sorry you're still having pain, but you sound so much better about it all now. Like you know the end is in sight and you can bear it awhile longer. Hope you have fun at the fair. What's Indian bread? Native Indian or India Indian?
I am back from the doctor this morning. Last night, by the time we all went to bed, my right shoulder was aching and aching again. I know it's from carrying the baby around, even though I carry him in my left arm to leave my right arm free for doing things. So I called and made an appointment to see the doc again about it. He gave me another steroid shot and said again that the problem is NOT surgical. He said the next thing we can try is physical therapy. But first the inflamation has to go down. Okay, but it's very hard to hold my arm immobile with these two boys, you know? They both need holding and cuddling!
Also, while I was there, I got a flu shot, a tetanus booster, and a diptheria shot. When they found out I was the caregiver of an infant, nothing would do but to have the diptheria shot.
Well, that's all my news for the day. Chris has gone to get her haircut, and Baby is sleeping right now (pray that he stays that way until she gets home again!), and I'm fixing to lie down and try to relax my arm. All these shots have made it HURT! (Betcha Judy knows exactly what I'm talking about!)

Vickie....I wish we could spend time together too. I am doing my best to stay positive....I have been looking for so long!! I need my own space, my things and most of all my bed!! I am blessed that I have such a loving and caring best friend Pam!!
So glad you got you shots ...especially the one in your shoulder!! They hurt for a while but are so worth it!!
