Sunday morning--who needs sleep? Me!

Good morning sistas!

I can't sleep.  My head feels like it needs to be amputated first!  LOL!  Lord, even my teeth hurt.  So I got up.  Took some more meds.  Sitting here waiting for them to kick in and maybe I can catch another couple of hours of sleep.

I have a house full of folks again tonight.  Carrie is still here, but leaving in a few hours.  Mike is here.  I have a feeling this is going to be a weekly thing.  He has all day Sunday off and wants to spend it with Chris and the baby, naturally enough.  Chris wants him here Saturday night to "experience taking care of Reese."  Whatever.  I'm too sick to care who is here or sleeping where tonight.

Looking forward to my first phone call from Butch later this morning.  It always helps just to hear his voice.  He wrote yesterday that he was better and about over his sick, so that's one good thing.  I can't stand the thought of him being sick so many thousands of miles away from home (and me!) with no one to take care of him.  I know my husband.  He won't admit to feeling bad in front of the other guys or go lie down if he needs to or anything sensible like that!  Men.

Well, I don't have much to say at 4 a.m.  Just waiting for my head to subside a bit so I can lie back down again.  This cold is kicking my butt.  Guess I'll go FB awhile.

Love you all!

Good Morning OFF friends

I am usually awake by 530 vickie   summer I enjoy it  but winter  ick!

I am still in North Muskegon State park with the terrorist tots.   Steve had to go home as he got called back to work a night  early he had to work Sat night.   Theres a security problem at home so here I am.  We had a breakin at the house   no damage but a window nothing stolen  and they have the idiot one of the ones fighting for custody of the babies money.

The good great uncle and aunt of the tots  were out camping with us part of last week auntie is still here, he had to return to ohio to work.    Auntie is totally inept absolutely  clueless in childcare!    But has such a loving heart and generous giving spirit and tries so hard!  The boys took to her  she tries hard,  I imagine she is going to make lots of mistakes   but her determination and the loving heart  the mistakes will not matter!  Uncles attitude is  well auntie is smart and can learn and he will help all he can.    plus they plan on  hiring a housekeeper for a few years parttime with those three monsters  so I suggested she find a gramma type willing to help with kids,      They get the little terrorists  they will be fine,

The tots are wearing me out!  who  knew 3 babies could run in 17 directions all at once?  they think the park is their huge playground and cover the whole thing everyday!    we have one of those expandable corale things   they cant get out of  they just move it where ever they want to go !!!  they are little imps for sure!

Prayers going up from my  home away feom home for all friends here.     hope all have a really good day

Good Morning Vickie and OFF-

Rainy Sunday in Maine after several days of sun.   The cat is making me atone for leaving him alone for three nights while I went to Bangor and further south.

Went to counseling in Bangor on Wednesday and then to Mindful Eating Class.  I think the counseling is helping a bit to get me to forgive myself for not being perfect.  Mindful Eating has definately made me aware of how I automatically shovel food into my mouth.  I'm chew chew chewing but hold onto my fork the whole time so this week I'm practicing putting the fork down while chewing.  The scale has remained unchanged for three weeks after losing three pounds the first week.

Thursday my cousin came over from Vermont for our annual trip to the Common Ground Fair in Unity, Maine.  The fair is put on by the Maine Organic Farmers and Growers Association.  I like to go to people watch.  You have the current hippies with dred locks, bare feet, hairy armpits and skirts over leggings.  You have the aging hippies with grey dred locks, bare feet and tied dyed tee shirts.  And you have all the spectrum between until you get to the yuppies and tourists.  Wonderful organic food booths that sell things like grilled eggplant and hummus sandwiches, fresh kettle fried potato chips, baked potatoes, pie cones, lobster rolls, gyros, smoothies.  Then there are the farmers selling their organic produce.  Throw in demonstrations on just about any earth friendly methodology and product.  We usually park in Unity and ride an old train that they rev up just for the fair.  It takes you right into the edge of the middle of the fair grounds.  Much easier than walking about two miles from parking area into the entrance.

I was pleased to attend this year and not purchase any yarn!  I left three totes of yarn and fabric in Texas when I left in the spring.  I do not need to haul any more fabric or yarn to Texas.

Good to see my cousin as I haven't seen her since the spring when she helped me drive to my Mother's house.

Vickie-  Sorry you are feeling so sick.  Sounds like a sinus infection.  Glad to read about your decision for the hysterectomy.  Having gone through this just recently I support your decision.  If you want a second opinion I would recommend Dr. Geri-Lynn Fromm in Houston.  She did mine laproscopically and I have complete faith in her skills.  She's associated with Women's Hospital of Texas but she also has admitting privileges at several of the Houston hospitals and used to practice at MD Anderson.

Jo W - Sorry to hear that the idiot family chose to break in at your home and that you're stuck in the RV with the happy terrors.  I almost wet my pants reading about them picking up the fence and moving it where they want to go.  Hope the great uncle gets the custody.  Great aunt will figure it out over time.  Nice that they made the effort to come camp with you in the park.

Trish - Hope church was good for you.

Connie- Glad to read that your procedure went well and that you're getting relief.

Well, that's about all from here in rainy Maine.  I have to clean this horse stall of a house today and get some laundry done.  Have to continue with my quilting marathon too.  Positive thoughts to all of you in need.

Morning Vic, Jo and Trish...OFF family yet to come in...

My arm is KILLING me!!! Right in the muscle area!!! I have tried the patches and heating pad and even Biofreeze  nothing is helping...guess I am going to have to take a pain pill again!!! Wanted to stop taking them but looks like that isn't going to happen!!!

We went to Bingo last night...donated our money...had plenty of chances but nothing won!! Oh well it was a fun night out with Rick and no Michael around us!!! (Michael is a tenant that lives across the street from us). He is over from open til 11pm EVERY day/night!!!! I have mentioned we like to be ALONE and not disturbed after hours...but he thinks that doesn't pertain to him!!!!!!! I am getting fed up with him being around us so much!!! He even told me and Rick that he loved me!!!!! WTH???? Rick says he is just bored and lonely. Yeah right!!!!!!! I am at my wits end at times!!! I can't even sit out on my patio without Michael being in MY chair!!!!!!!! If I am out there and have to go inside for a minute I come back out and there he sits in MY chair!!!!!!!!!!! WTF????????? I just don't know what to do. I sit inside and stew!!!!! Sighs. Sorry for ranting but I had to get it out or bust!!

Picked out a name of the new bird. DOC. Rick is always asking "whats up" so maybe this bird will learn that lol. He is trying to guess what his mom got him...LOL

Vic hope you feel better soon...might want to mention to the new parents they should start looking for a place of their own soon...you shouldn't have to "entertain" them all. They are of age and shouldn't have to rely on you ALL the time. Or you can charge them rent to stay there...just a suggestion. I know how much you love them but its time to fly the coop. Hope Butch is feeling better also!!!!

Jo sounds like the family of those triplets will be taking them soon. Sounds like it will work out...heck even new parents make mistakes with their own babies. They will learn and learn fast I am sure.

Trish you are one busy lady since you moved to Michigan!!! Glad you are so happy there!!!!

Thoughts and Prayers for ALL that need them!!

HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Judy,

I would either tell the guy not to come over or put an extra chair outside.  That way, you can get up and leave and come back to your own chair.   My husband is a little like you in that he would rather it just be he and I but I am the opposite and love having people around.  So, he gets frustrated at the strays that I pick up.

Judy, I have a torn rotator cuff in both of my shoulders and have some really bad problems with my vertebrae that are in part the result of the car accident that left me paralyzed for eight years and part because I have rheumatoid arthritis.   I went to a chiropractor and when he was doing my intake information and after he did the Xrays, he said never ever ever get any kind of adjustment to my shoulders or back because they can do so much harm.   I talked to my doctor to see if he could refer me to a chiro that could work with me but he said that those of us with severe vertebrae and other joint problems should first get a referral but he wouldn't refer me.   I guess what I'm trying to say is what works for your old man isn't a good thing for you because you have some pathology that requires specialized care.

I hope your shoulder problems get resolved.

Jeannie I DID talk to my dr about the chiro and he was all for it...said it WOULD help me get better also. So did the therapist at therapy. So I am going...

As for Michael...he has an electric chair he comes over in sometimes and yet soon as I get out of MY chair...he gets in it!!!!! I sat in his chair before and didn't like it. I love having company also BUT when this same person is near you like 24/7 it is a bit much don't you think????????? We need time alone to relax and talk the day over with each other ya know? He is ALWAYS there and I have also mentioned ALOT we don't need to be bothered but it goes right over his head!!!!!!! Sighs...

he sounds like either a pain in the butt or a very lonely man.   There's a housekeeper who works in our building and she absolutely will come in my office and talk for thirty or forty minutes and I will look away or look at my computer screen and she just won't take the hint.   So I guess it's that some people just cannot get it through their thick skull.

Yuppers sounds like Michael...I am busy as all get out and he stands there just staring at me...he is in love with me also...OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is lonely and bored but there are a lot of tenants he can go visit instead of me all the time!!! Sighs.......
