It's Tuesday
Swinging chickens for you, Jennifer, hoping they get a good biopsy sample so you can get the results you need to get.
As for me, I go on trying to get by every day. I had a rough day last night. Little sleep, lots of pain and a lot of work. And it all came late, so it was raining stories from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. for two papers. Fortunately, someone helped me because I had the brunt of the workload (not much news space), but still ... I was flopping stories on the page and telling my coworker "read this" ... "read that." Amazingly, with nine pages, I got done on time.
Then I couldn't sleep when I got home, I was in so much pain. It was radiating down from my back to my little toe on my right foot. I was in a lot of pain by the time I got to PT this morning. The therapist, a young woman named Breanna, is very good. She decided to try mechanical traction today. I feel so much better. (other than a headache now). Still tired, but my back feels better.
Napped a bit after PT and not doing much else. I'll make something for dinner. Have a good day.
Evening OFF -
Trish glad you are enjoying time with the grands.
My heart goes out to Nan and Morgan. Such a brave little girl. I am sad for Nan and her son but happy that Morgan is no longer suffering.
Hugs to Connie as you feel Morgan's passing more than the rest of us because of Nic's cancer. Cancer is an insidious disease especially in children.
Swinging chickens for Jennifer tomorrow that they will get the samples needed tomorrow and that you don't have to have any additional procedures.
Vickie- happy to read that you're feeling better. Hope you got some rest while Benny was in school. Believe it or not they are opening a Hobby Lobby in Bangor! I almost fell over when I saw it.
Today was Mah Jong day with the ladies. Two of our group are heading south at the end of the week. Next week we will only have four players and I will be hosting. Today's snack was homemade craisin bread. I allowed myself one piece with some butter. Damp chill today that made the hot bread and hot tea pleasing.
Going back to Bangor for more mindful eating coaching this Thursday. I so want to get the regain off the body. I thought I did fairly well at the fair last week but scale didn't say so yesterday. What it did show me is that I am carb intolerant. No breads, cakes or flour products in my life regardless of whether I eat them mindfully.
Oh well, I'm going to fix my dinner now. Positive thoughts to all of you in need. I'll be thinking about Jennifer tomorrow along with Judy and Eileen who are currently in pain.
Cindi
I was in the bath getting ready for an appointment this am. Bill came and told me one of the birds was sick. I jumped out of the tub and ran out to see. (Birds hide their sickness so as not to be driven out of the flock.) Sure enough he was fluffed and his head was bobbing and eyes pinning. Phone wouldn't work again today and had to find loss cell. I ran him up to the vet. He was still with us as of 7pm tonight which is really a miracle.
So the shed I was supposed to get built verily got started. Bill did get the fill dirt brought up and I got it spread and leveled and the platform I built yesterday placed on top. We got everything moved around in the garage to get to the box containing the parts. We did get the floor pieces assembled on the platform hopefully I can get it together tomorrow.
I had to than clean up for a meeting/banquet. The thing dragged on for 3 hours. Hopefully tomorrow I can get this shed done and the pen finished for the Buck. There is so much that needs doing before Bill goes to the hospital and it isn’t getting done.
