Saturday, what are we eating?
Aloha...I know this is good for me, but I sometimes think my situation is so different from others that this might not be helpful:
B - oatmeal with fresh blueberries, splenda, and half n half.
S - Pure protein bar and coffee
L - 1/2 double cheese Carl's Jr. hamburger
S - handful of nuts
D - Bertolis dinner for two......with added baby zuchini, and yellow squash. Also, a whole wheat english muffin with real butter!!
S = Orange sherbet with one cookie
I went to a meeting today with colleagues who also screen newborn babies' hearing, and everyone said to me "OMG, you are getting so skinny!" This does NOT feel good, and I'm not trying to lose any more, but can't seem to put on lbs. I know this is a strange problem, but it is mine. From 350 lbs. I am now trying to hold on to 145......a problem I never thought possible. I refuse to go to total junk food to gain.......but do have cheese, real mayo, cookies, ice cream, and gravy. Doesn't seem to make a difference. Believe me, I hate sharing this kind of "problem" when most of us are regaining. My doc says "If you feel OK, then don't worry about weightl" But I do!

Honey, I know just what you are talking about, so don't worry here!
I got too thin when I had the small bowel obstruction....down to a 0-2. Who knew there were clothes that small? Every day I had comments that made me fell like I was crazy for not seeing what they were talking about.
I spoke to my nutritionist and told her I was an expert at gaining weight, but needed to do it in a CONTROLLED and healthy way. Avocados...whole ones if I liked them, full fat mayo, salad dressings, nuts, butter on sweet potatoes, full fat yogurt, etc.
I know it's hard, especially when it's not a problem you planned on having, or have friends who can empathize with you. Let's face it, there aren't too many people in this world who complain about being too thin.
I weighed 140 this a.m.....but I'm 5'3. I look back on pictures taken of me 5yrs ago when I weighed 117 and now I can see what people were talking about.

I'm sure buying anything but low/non fat stuff is hard for you, it sure was for me! Do it anyway with the knowledge that you need to do it.
It was the flip flopping that messed with my head....low fat/calories then full fat/more calories, now I'm back to the beginning. I'm slowly losing the 11lbs I gained in 5 weeks last year( that's a WHOLE different subject), so I'm happy about that.
Also, in the beginning, and until about a year ago, I never dumped. Oh sure, I had a threshold, but for the most part I didn't. Well, hallelujah I do now for some crazy reason that I don't care to have an explanation for, just grateful that I do!

When I was so sick and dropped down way below 100 pounds and could not gain weight to save my life, I felt so guilty coming here and posting about my problem of losing when others were stalling or gaining. I don't think conversations of weight loss or weight gain or either one more or less important than the other so post on.
