Morning Trish and OFF family yet to come in...
Sorry I have been missing on here but I am so tired of running all the time and not having a minute to really relax...dr's, therapy, showing apartments, all the fuss that goes with being a manager....wow!!!! Seems to all happen an once around here!!
Went to Rick's chiro dr and he took some exrays and imaging of my spine and neck area. WOW is my neck area BAD!!!!!!!! So he told me if I didn't get this neck area fixed SOON it could go to my heart and lungs. This dr is a "healing" chiro also. So the neck area is affecting my shoulder he also told me. I told him to sign me up for treatment!!! So I got my first "crack" yesterday and OMG my neck sounded like the grand finale of the fireworks!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!! He also cracked my back in several areas and also gave me some kind of nerve pounding across my shoulders. I feel BETTER!!!!!!!!!! Amazing huh? I went to therapy after that and told my therapy girl what he did and she said yes that would also help my shoulder. I can actually lift my arm straight out and up more also sideways and backwards more!!! Getting better!!! NOW if this pain in my muscle area stops....LOL
Made some baled chicken and buttered noodles for supper last night. WRONG THING TO EAT!!!!!!!! Boy was I ever sick!!!!! Took about 3 hours and it finally came up...guess I don't eat the noodles again...Did not see chicken come up just the noodles...ewwwwwwwww TMI sorry!!!
Getting a lot of rain here since about 7pm last night. Been on "watch" incase it floods...so far so good!!! Tried to take Bandit out walking to open up this morning and he didn't want to go in that rain!!! He pulled me back home after opening the club house next to us. Not going with me to the other side...LOL
Rick's mom called me yesterday...shocker...anyhow she finally got Rick his baby ****atiel!!!!!!! He will be ready to come home just about his birthday!! It is white with some yellow and little gray and has some orange on its cheeks she said. So now we are trying to find a name for him...without Rick knowing he has this bird coming...LOL I am thinking DOC because he is always asking the other birds and Bandit "whats up" So I thought What's up Doc??????? LOL So now I have to call his mom back when I am not around Rick so I can tell her the name I got for him. He is going to flip when he gets this bird!!! He misses his bird that died back in January so much. The parakeets are ok but not HIS bird ya know? And this new one he can teach to talk!!! Getting excited for it to come here!!!
My son posted a new picture of my grand furbaby on FB yesterday...he is named Duncan and now weighs 20 pounds at 10 weeks old!!!! His legs look twice as long since we picked him up 2 weeks ago!!!! He is a bernese mountain dog. Very pretty dog.
Well that's about it for me. I rattled on long enough.

I'm back from Oregon, a week of canning and quilting. Boy, did I have fun. Home for a week then off to Carmel to help my girlfriend for the week she is having her second hip replacement.
Judy, I so want a Bernese Mountain dog, but with 3 dogs and 3 cats I just can't right now. I'm glad to hear the arm and shoulder is getting a little better.

Judy....so glad you are finally finding someone that can help you with your pain. What a relief that must be. I saw the pic of the dog on Facebook I swear the legs alone grew 3 inches! I love his coloring!! Such a beautiful dog. I am sure Rick will be very excited to get his bird...what a great surprise!
Debbie.....glad you made it home safely. I am sure you had a wonderful time with your sister doing your projects!!

I am taking it easy today. I really did overdo yesterday. I ended up with a fever last night. It finally broke during the night. I wasn't too concerned as I always end up with a fever after surgeries. Today it is back to normal again.
I need to do a load of laundry sometime today. Pam had gotten me a Boost yesterday morning. I went to shake it and didn't know she loosened the top. Chocolate Boost all over me and everywhere else. What a mess....straight to the shower I went!!!

Hello Trish, Judy, Debbie and all my sistas!
Well, they say the 3rd time's a charm, so let's hope so. This is my third attempt to sit down and write this morning. Mornings are an absolute zoo around here.
So, Benny and I have the same cold. Chris is better. Her throat isn't sore today and she doesn't have a cold. Carrie and Baby Reese both appear to be fine. So we're a mixed lot today.
We're going to attempt an outing later this afternoon with all five of us in my car. I have 3 rows of seats, but it's still awfully crowded with a toddler seat and an infant seat in the second row.
Not much else going on. We're playing closet a lot this weekend. Carrie has tried on everything in Christie's closet and half the stuff in my closet. She is looking so good! I gave her a couple of tops that I bought but have not worn much. Chris gave me a pair of jeans. Carrie is taking some of Christie's stuff to the resale shop in Waco. Closet is a fun game.
Well, that's about all I have for today. Connie, I hope your recovery is going well for you today. How big of an incision do you have, or was it done laparoscopic? I surely do pray that you get some relief! I know you would like to be more active. Judy, hoping your shoulder/arm/neck are better today. Can't remember any more right now, but I think of and pray for you all.

Vickie....I just have two smaller incisions above and below where the original scars were from the hip surgery and removing the rod. It is a bit sore and bruised but still so much better. Thanks for asking!!
Have fun on your car excursion today....I guess you will have a full car!! Glad Chris is feeling better and you too!

Connie!!!! I must have missed or forgot that you were going to have surgery!!! I am so sorry please forgive me!!! Hope you are doing much better now...and maybe that BOOST helped?? LOL Sorry had to lol at that one...I have done that myself...Sometimes Rick takes the top off for me and forgets to tighten it up some...soooo I get the drink all over everything!!!

Judy....nothing like a Boost shower...LOL
No need to be concerned about my surgery. It was a same day surgery. I am doing okay and have a lot less pain already. Had that fever last night and now my tummy is upset. Must be from the meds and such. I will be resting up the rest of the day.
