HAppy Monday Morning!

Hello sistas!

My, what a Monday we have had!  I'm exhausted.  We are all getting ready for bed and it's not even 8 p.m. yet.

This morning Chris and I took Baby Reese for a newborn baby photo shoot.  Never did that before.  It was fun!  A friend of Christie's is trying to get her photography business up and going so that she can quit her job at Hobby Lobby.  Anyway, as a present, she gave Chris the photo session for free.  Baby Reese was so sweet and she posed him in all sorts of cute little buckets and pails and crates and wrapped him in little swaddling cloths and little hats.  Can't wait to see the finished pics.  I took some shots from the sidelines and posted them on FB.  Just too precious.

Then Chris and Baby Reese had their 1 week follow-up appointments with the doctor this afternoon.  Baby has gained a little and is doing fine.  Chris's incision is healing well.  I thank God for my healthy family.

Came home and cooked a nice supper for us.  Chris is SO hungry all the time with nursing.  So I made fried chicken cutlets, roasted sweet potatoes, English peas and we had watermelon for dessert. 

Oh, heard from Butch and he made it to Dubai just fine.  He'll be back on the rig by the time I wake up tomorrow.  Another safe journey, thank you Jesus.

Read all the posts, but just too pooped to comment on each one tonight.  Just know that I love you all!

Hello Vickie...the few pics I saw on Facebook of Reese were just adorable!! That was really nice of her friend to give Chris a free session!

I am glad Butch made it safely. When will be be home for good?

Your meal sounds amazing! With Chris off work now she can handle the kids and help around the house as she can. Glad Chris is healing well. Hope you get the free time you need!!!
