Please, Please, Please--Susan--do the what's eating and what's eating you
I have to agree.....Susan, PLEASE post!
it is so easy to just wave the reality away and shrug, deciding that TOMORROW will be different...not only is it cleansing to write it down but it also makes it REAL.
Today was a busy crazy day but I started with good intentions and did my best to at least be reasonable with my eating.
Labour Day:
B hot chocolate protein drink
L (at a musical event- little choice of food) BBQ hamburger w/ cheese (the other choice was a HOT DOG - I think that I made the better choice) and water
D small cold cooked pork chop diced into romaine lettuce, onions, celery, cucumber and nuts w/ light poppyseed dressing
S fresh pears, diced
Not a GREAT day but considering my choices, it's acceptable. To0morrow (Tuesday), I will have better control of my own menu.
Clear liquids for me since i have surgery on Wed
B - black coffee and apple juice
L- chicken broth and sf jello
D-beef broth and sf jello
Snacks were sf popsicles and crystal lite, water water and water
a few pieces of hard candy ( this was on my list as acceptable)
Kept myself busy around the house and started packing my bag for the hospital
Love this idea of accountability, lets keep it going!

Yes, I need the accountability as much as anyone. I do track my food, but if I'm the only one seeing my FitDay journal, who's to know if it occasionally leave something off?
I can get it started, but I'm am going on vacation home to San Diego, and I'll be up front and honest, there WILL be food involved that I love and miss, but I'm confident that the chces I make will be better than when I lived there for 50 years. But, the will be indulgences, I won't lie.
Also, I am in charge of the reunion of the Music program from high school and will be suuuuuper busy with that, so I might not get the chance to post much. If someone can take over for me while I'm gone, I'll pick back up when I get back.
We will need to make some ground rules. Are we just going to post what we eat, or will we critique, if asked, of course. Before when I did it I would give suggestions, but it wasn't always well received. It's ok to just list our intake, but I think unless someone is struggling and asks for suggestions, I might not offer up my opinion unless the poster asks. Keeping quiet isn't my strongest attribute, as you know. But whatever the group wants, I'll give it my best.
I've been completely engrossed in finding missing band members from 40+years ago and organizing the big party. Someone asked me what I was going to do with my time when it was over. Sometimes opportunity lands in your lap.
