Yes I do still have it but this feeling of throwing up started when I started taking the percocetes... so I really don't think its my gall bladder.

Pain med can cause me that feeling of throwing up too.  Hopefully they can find something that works for you soon.

Taking benadryl with pain pills help weigh nausea - I can't take them unless I tasks benadryl. The combination knock me out - but I can sleep for 1 hr and avoid the nausea and dry heaving. Try that.

Morning OFF Family!

House is so empty with Micheal off at college, and Krissy is at a friends. Hasn't helped matters but Steve has been pretty grumpy this last week. I'm getting into a weird habit, I sleep for about 4-5 hours and then I'm wide awake. Well it sounds like I'm having a pity party...enough of that! Finishing up the Christmas tree skirt I started yesterday.  Don't no why I bother, as soon as I put it around the tree our silly cat Frankie will some how get it off and carry it around the house. We'll find it in all kinds of places. He takes what ever he can carry and moves everything. He especially likes Steve's desk where he moves all of his business cards, invoices, etc.

BBQ some chicken tonight but that's about all, hope you all have a great day,

Judy hope you can get the pain under control soon.

Thoughts and prayers for all, Debbie

Debbie I am sitting here LOL about your cat and the tree skirt!!! I can see him doing it too!!!! When I had my cat Squirt, he would be right there watching me put the tree up and I would tell him no climbing the tree or else!!! Had to put the yardstick next to it for a reminder to him!!! He weighed about 18 pounds and thought he was a little kitten and he would climb the tree and sit in it hiding and if we came into the room he would sit in it really still thinking we wouldn't SEE him in it!!!! Oh that cat was something else!!! LOL Eyes would glow like the lights...but his tail would give him away because he would flick it!!!! LOL

Working on the pain but not doing very well...haha

Judy and OFF-

Soggy greetings from Maine.  It has rained all day.  I've spend most of the day working on the book project sorting another batch of photos.  The photo selection team has selected 953 from the first batch that I gave them August 1.  Now we have another 480 for them to go through on this cycle.

Judy - Consider asking the doctor whether he'll change you to something besides Percocets like an Oxycodone or Vicodin.  Also ask if he'll prescribe a cortisone dose pack if he won't do the injection in the shoulder.

Debbie-  I had to giggle when I read about your cat and the tree skirts.  One year I had a 18 foot Christmas tree and my cat decided to climb it.  Timber went the tree.  Needless to say I had to wire the tree to the window frame to keep it standing.  My current cat likes to steal skiens of yarn from my knitting bag.

Not much else new here in Maine.  I've increased my exercise routine on the elliptical machine.  I'm going to do 5 days a week.  Wednesday this week I'll go to the surgeons office to attend a mindful eating class.  Doing all I can to fight the regain and get back on track.

Positive thoughts to all of you in need.  Good luck to the two having surgery this week.  You'll do great.  Don't forget the lip balm for the dried lips.

Hi Cindi...I have already tried the vicodin...NOTHING. I am taking the Oxycodone now and it helps some for the arm pain but makes me sick and a headache...never heard of the dose pack cortisone...will ask which is better and works faster....can't take much more of this pain trust me!!!

Good Luck on your exercise and eating class!!!

Good evening Judy and everyone......

Judy.....I am glad you stayed home last night. You need to rest that arm. You poor dear! Your dinner of steak, ribs and potato salad sounds wonderful!!! Sorry you are feeling so sick again. I pray the call to the doctor helps. He must do something!!

Jan.....it sounds like you are getting things all together for your journey. Don't forget a pillow for in the car. Those bumps in the road are brutal!! I had to drink Boost High Protein Drink before and again after surgery for two weeks. I drank the Calorie Count or the Glucose Free. We could have 3-4 a day plus the broth, popsicles and tons of water. I still drink Boost every morning with a piece of fruit. I am just not a good morning eater.

Karen....I hope your fever ends soon. Stay away from people! Your surgery is so close. Take all the Z-pak. Prayers you are better soon. Good luck!!

Debbie....I remeber how hard it was when my daughters moved on. I was devistated for a long time. It isn't a fun part of our lives. Some people can't wait for the kids to leave. I never felt that way. Your BBQ sounds so yummy!! What a silly cat you have...LOL!!!

Cindi....congrats on upping your exdercise routine!!

I know a couple others commented....sorry CRS. I think one was Jeannie. I did post to her on the other thread. So sorry everyone I forgot!! I do care about you all!!

I had a quiet day to myself until my daughter, her husband, and my grandson, Lucas came home at about noon. Carrie and Greg went to the State Fair to a concert with friends. Lucas and I ordered Chinese for dinner. WOW....can that boy eat!! He ate hotdish, then a quart of strawberries, and then lasagna all afternoon. He still ate a ton a bit ago when the food arrived. I love having time with Lucas. He is 15 and a great young man. Thus....I am getting off the internet for now. He starts school tomorrow... 10th grade this year. He has grown up too fast. I look forward to spending time with him this week!! He wants me to take him to school and pick him up. He always does. I guess he must still like being seen with me!!! You know how kids can be...LOL.

Have a great rest of the evening. Prayers for many in need.

Love and hugs to all....connie d
