Good Morning Off friends,

My babies are up changed; dressed; fed breakfast; and playing a favorite game called MINE!  and its just barely light!    I dont know if the sun is up yet as its clouded over here.   I truely understand why 20-30 yo are the mommies and our age are grandmas!!  I truely understand it.  We had another supervised visit yesterday.  Mom grandma and 2 aunts who all want custody of the ss money spent the entire hr we were there arguing about it.    After being pushed away several times by mommy and grandma the babies came to social worker and I for comfort and entertainment,    I had to sit on Steve the entire time so he didnt go tell the family members off!   Hard to convince him that we are the caregivers for the babies and not the fixers of broken unfixable families!

Steve wants to take the babies to a carnival here.  NOt sure they are old enough yet for that.

I am trying to get tomatoes canned and spegetti sauce made and canned.    last of my preserving cept for making several batches of jams and jellies  later on when I am not insane.

heres hoping all friends here have a happy fun filled holiday.   keep safe!\

prayers going up for all of you,  special prayers for some!

Morning Jo and OFF family yet to come in...

Jo was the social worker there when that awful family was? What did THEY think IF they were there?? OMG that has to be so sad!!! When I was a kid I had a girlfriend that lived in the next block that was a ward of the state and her aunt had custody of her. She was treated like a servant and not once do I remember her getting any love from them. She turned 16 and told her aunt she felt this lump on her knee cap area...her aunt never did anything about it...turned out it was cancer and she lost her leg because of it!!! She has died a few years ago and had such a sad sad life...yes her aunt had custody of her for that monthly check!!!!!!!!

Had a nice storm come through here last night about 3am. WOW!!! What a light show!!! Happy it wasn't a flood!!! A nice rain for a change!!!

Went to therapy yesterday. OMG the pain. Before I went I did take a pain med dr gave me...I felt sick...yup I threw up. I have tried eating with it before it and after it. Still feel sick to my stomach. Woke up this morning with another headache from it. I did stop at the dr's off ice and mentioned it to them. They told me to try over the weekend to adjust to it and see what happens. OK. They said I should be fine by then. OK. See how I TRUST people? I hope they are right!!!! Rick keeps asking me why I am crying...I keep telling him it HURTS!!!!!!!!! He said he would help me with therapy today...OMG just what I need...;-)

Had one tenant ask me how come we were not having a BBQ for the holiday. I said because I am in PAIN and do not have time to do it and besides what happened last month? Where was everyone that wanted THAT BBQ????? Just done with parties for now. I need ME time!!!!!!!! That shut her up.

Supposed to have our 4th of july fireworks tomorrow night. Postponed because of all the rain/flooding we had back in july. Well we MIGHT have rain sunday night not sure yet. I don't know if we will go or not. NASCAR race is on I think. And the way I feel...home is where I would rather be. Can't say comfortable because I can't get comfortable it hurts so bad yet.

Well that's about it in my world...need to get dressed now and take Bandit out for his potty walk. Wish he would just GO tied outside our door but nope he HAS to go walking. But it makes me walk more...;-)

Thoughts and Prayers for ALL that need them!!! Special ones for Laureen right now with the loss of her brother. HUGSSSSSS Laureen!!!!!

THe social worker is the official at the supervised visits>  I dont need to stay  I just need bring the babies  but since they get rejected by "loving" family   I feel the need to be there for the emotional well lbeing of the triplets       The social worker just sits back and observes all the nonsense so she knows what is going on.  None of the idiots in the custody suit will get custody  it just has to play itselv out

Judy  instead of taking the whole pain pill every 4- 6 hrs    try cutting it in half and taking first half  then in 2-3 hrs taking second half  you should get full strenght benefit but not the nausua  you get taking the whole pill at once.  I do that and it works for me   I use the oxyconin for my back and take it halp a pill at a time it helps me.   Might not you I know

Sorry you are hurting so much, Judy. I sure know how you feel.

I like Jo's idea of taking half a pill, then the other half in two-three hours. Maybe that will help. Some people take awhile to adjust to meds (fortunately, I'm not one of those, although these pain patches are affecting me a bit ... a few headaches in the morning to start and I'm kind of foggy).

Hope everyone is OK. Not much else is happening. Back to work tonight.

Morning Jo, Judy and all to follow!

Been up since 3:30 went to bed to early and just can't sleep anymore.

It's so peaceful this time of the day I love it.

Jo, hope you have fun with the babies. It always amazes me how people can act. Our daughter is adopted thru Social Services and we had almost a 2 year ordeal with Krissy. Trying to work with the system is very frustrating. Everything is hurry up and wait! LOL!  Any way "all's well that ends well"!

Judy, I wish I had a cure for you. Being in that kind of pain is unbearable. I sure hope you can adjust to the meds soon.

Well Michael is moved in to his new apt. He was transferred to a Safeway grocery store in Sacramento. He has such a hard time with change. He does not like the new store. I told him to give it 2 weeks then hopefully he'll feel better about it. Got a bunch of stuff at Costco for him. He still has to do some grocery shopping. But he's a good young man and will do fine. He also has 2 room mates so at least he's not alone. I ate half a bag of pita chips, a piece of cheesecake and some cheese and crackers last night to console my self which was a really bad idea. Not going to punish myself but I do not want that behavior to continue. Evenings are the hardest for me, so I'm going to have to be careful of what I put into my mouth.

Well enough wining from me! Need to go grocery shopping and I want to work on my quilt, plus I'm making a quilt for my MIL for X-Mas and I'm making tree skirts.

Hope you all have a great day, thoughts and prayers for all,

Debbie
