Well . . .
My profile is set to private. I tried setting it to friends only and then tried to type a message and I had the same problem -- the text box in the message area is grey'd out and I can't type in it.
I'm using Internet Explorer 10 as my browser. Anyone else using it? I wonder if it's an issue with my browser.

I was using Internet Explorer and was having issues. The support here told me to download Chrome or FF and since I switched to Chrome I haven't had any one issues here. Just have troubles now with the boards that had me use IE.

I know I've been absent for awhile and boy I have I missed some stuff. You do not need to apologize for anything.
