Drizzly Tuesday!
Good morning my OFF sistas!
Well, I wouldn't go so far as to call it RAIN, but there is some damp stuff falling from the skies this morning! LOL! Oh how we need a good soaking here, but we'll take what we can get.
We all had a very good day yesterday. Benny did great at preschool! He is such a little sweetheart. He went off again this morning with no problems. I think this is going to be a very good experience for him. Last year he just went 2 days a week. This year, he can go up to 5 days a week. I'm sure there will be times when we will keep him out, but for the most part he'll go all 5 days.
Butch and I are busy, busy today working on projects around here. PTL, he actually got in there yesterday and finally finished putting all the trim up in the guest bathroom. Now I can finally paint it. Hopefully he'll work on finishing the inside of the closet in the new guest room today. Things are progressing.
I didn't get a lot done yesterday. I was too busy reveling in my freedom, but today I have to put my working hat on and get busy.
Hope everyone is doing well today. Want to invite our new members to join in with us today and tell us what's going on with you as you prepare for your WLS. We really do care and we're ready to help!
Love you all!
Afternoon Vic and rest to follow...
Well last night I tried the aspercream on my arm and I think it helped the best so far!!! But I still hurt a lot!! Tomorrow just can't get here soon enough!!!
Reading about the past and present of the board has me in a fit!!! I want to post so much but my arm is so dam sore I can't right now!!!!!!!! We are adults here and this needs to stop!!!!!!!!! For gosh sakes start 2 different threads!!!!!!!! Build a dam bridge and get over it already!!!!!!!!!! When we have a problem we ASK for help!!!!! When a new person comes in we offer help to them!!! If they come back GREAT!!!!!!! If they don't its not our fault now is it?????? OK arm is throbbing....point is stop this bickering already!!!!!!!!!!!
Thoughts and Prayers for ALL that need them!!!!!!!!!!!!
HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Hello OFF family,
Sorry I've been absent the last couple of weeks. For some reason I've gotten out of my morning routine, been so busy with the kids, 3 dogs, 3 cats, oh and my wonderful husband. I seem to get up in the mornings with plans I want to do and they all seem to have a different plan for me. Well as they say "that's life".
Hope your all doing well, thoughts and prayers for all,
Debbie
Hi Vickie and my OFF family:
Kind of been out of the loop here lately. Was surprised at all the posts. I hope we can welcome all viewpoints and posts of whatever matter. I haven't been posting much lately because I've been kind of busy. Nothing against anyone at all.
My reunion was a blast. Lot of driving and my crazy GPS got me lost at one point going up there. But it was fun reconnecting with everyone. Wish I could have stayed longer on Saturday but I got a sudden headache. Then I wanted to stay for the Sunday brunch but had to head back so I could work last night. Driving back always seems so long.
Funny thing happened on Sunday ... seems the guy who does our scheduling forgot to schedule someone to do the sports pages. So we were short one person and I didn't get bac****il 7 p.m. I guess it was a little hectic, but they still got it done in time.
My pain levels are a little bit better by starting back on Cymbalta, but it has added to my weight unfortunately. Have to get back on the ball again. Efflexor had a side effect of weight loss; cymbalta has a weight gain side effect. Oh well; it's more important that I feel better. My back doc also started me on a drug patch. Only have been on it one day so I don't know if it has helped. I didn't want to start taking it until I was home all day, and that was today.
Trish, best wishes on your surgery.
Judy, hope you find out about your arm soon.
Vickie, glad Benny did well in preschool. My niece was worried about my grandnephew Sam in school, because he was such a chatty kid. But he did great. He's an A student even though he likes to talk a lot. He's just very creative and much different than his older brother.
Hope you all have a great day. I have laundry and vacuuming on my agenda (the cat's bathroom is a mess ... needs to be vacuumed desperately).
Thanks for praying.
Love,
Trish
