Sunday in Michigan
I totally cleaned my kitchen yesterday. Love when it sparkles.
Today, I head to church and try to get my spare room decluttered.
Must scoot.
Hugs,

Morning Trish...Wish my kitchen was sparkling clean!!! HAHA...some day it will be again.
Couldn't sleep again last night due to the pain in my arm. Just could not find a comfortable position to lay I guess.
Going to the grocery store today need a few things. Rick is going to make Cornish hens today. Or "pigeons" as my mother calls them. LOL I remember the first time Rick heard that he thought that was what we were really having!! LMAO priceless!!! The look on his face...OMG!!!!!
Arm is hurting so best get off here.
Thoughts and Prayers for ALL that need them.
HUGSSSSSSSSSSSS
Good morning Trish and Judy and all my OFF sistas!
Ahhh, Sunday! Christie's day off, and thus MY day off! Hurray!
Trish, I could sure use some of that sparkle here. Got all that company coming next weekend for Labor Day, so I need to get crackin' myself. Now, when is your surgery date? I forget, but I know it is soon.
Judy, hoping you can rest your shoulder all day today. That's the only thing that helps mine. Have you thought of using a sling to immobilize your arm?
Not a lot going on here today. Butch is finally getting over his jet lag and he MAY (or may NOT) do some work today! LOL! He's got a long honey-do list, but I'm biding my time and not nagging him about it--yet. We'll see if he gets going on it on his own today.
I am washing sheets and that's about it. I need to clean, but no point in trying that until Benny is out of the house next week. He just follows along behind me messing everything up faster than I can clean it up. LOL! I tell myself he won't be 3 y/o forever and I'll miss these days.
Benny is starting to develop a sense of humor and to make little jokes. Silly little things, but he's so tickled with himself. For example, this morning he told me there was a purple lizard on the porch. When I said "PURPLE?", he cracked up laughing. Such a little sweetheart. I do love that little man.
Well, I hope everyone is feeling well and/or doing better today. Glad to see Connie posting again. Hope we get some other MIA's to post today. Karen, Debbie, Jo, Cindy, Annette, et al, where are you guys??? We miss you!
Love you all!
My surgery is Tuesday morning. I have to be at the hospital at 6:30 my time. Eastern Time. I'll keep everyone posted.
Hugs,
Trish

Hello All,
I am in kid patrol today. My neice is in Wiscinsin with her girlfriends and her husband had to work.
So Imam watching her two yr old and her six yr old boys! The oldest one went on a play date.
Judy my nsaid of choice is usually the ones from costco.
My friend and I are probably leaving for home tomorrow. I have to drop her off in North Carolina then Ill go home to Florida the next day. Carl and inare returning to Chicago on the 17th fir the birth.
Good afternoon Trish and everyone.......
Trish....glad you are getting things done that you wanted to do before surgery. You will be glad you did after Tuesday. Keeping you in my prayers that all goes well Tuesday.
Judy....have you ever tried sleeping in a recliner. That is the only way I could sleep when my shoulders were bad. In fact the Orthopedic surgeon/doctor recommended it. It helped me so much. Hey...tell Rick to deliver me one of those "pigeons"....I love them!
Vickie...Horray for a day off!!! If anyone needed one you did!! Glad Butch is doing better with his "jet lag". That must me awful. Glad you have that "Honey Do" list all ready for him. I am sure he will get those things done as soon as he can. You may have to nudge him a bit soon. Benny is such a sweetie. I love when they start really expressing themselves. Jamie has kept books of things Nic and Grace have said in their early years. As soon as they say something funny we write it down. Then she puts it in their books. I love to read those books. They are so cute and so funny!
Carla....have fun on 'Kid Patrol" today! I am sure you are enjoying being with your grandchildren. I am so excited that that new grandbaby will be there soon. So much joy for everyone!!
I am hoping to have a day to myself today!!! These last three days have been awful. Rick tried to get the computer working. He was here for many hours. The next morning it was not connected again. We had the cable company here for 4.5 hours. He left for 15 minutes and no connection again. Rick spent most of yesterday on it for hours and hours. He finally figured it out. Hopefully this will be it for a long time to come!! I have missed sharing time with all of you.
I must make a quick run to the grocery store now. It is 96 degrees and the air is very heavy and smokey again. I won't be out long at all!! Pam ran me a couple places yesterday. The weather was so bad I couldn't even get to the grocery store. I was so wiped out I felt sick. I just couldn't breathe. Wish me luck today!!
Wishing you all a beautiful day!! Prayers for many in need. Special prayers for Nan and Morgan.
Much love and many hugs to all......connie d
Connie I have slept MANY times in the recliner so I might start again!!!!!!! Only thing is the lights from outside are so darn bright they keep me awake!! GRRRR Guess we will get some dark blinds for our place!!!
I will let Rick know you want a "pigeon" LOL They are smelling pretty good right now!!! :-)
HUGSSSSSSSS
Hi, All. I've promptly forgotten everything I was going to comment on. I need to open two windows on the computer so I can go back and read and then go to my open post and make comments there OR I need to print off all the preceding posts so I can remember what the heck I was thinking of when I began.
Oh, I remember that I wanted to say good luck with your gall bladder surgery, Trish. I hope and pray that you feel immediate relief even through the surgical discomfort you may have.
Judy -- I have had problems with my shoulders (as well as other joints) but I don't think I've experienced the excruciating pain you've written about. I sure hope you can get something that is effective for the pain. I've not taken NSAIDS but my hubby (who has also had WLS) has to take aspirin daily and he's on a med to protect his stomach. Maybe your doc could do something like that for you.
Vickie -- I smiled inside when you commented that you hoped hubby would start on his honey do list soon (as in TODAY). I think that is an experience we've all had at one time or another. After months and months of prodding, we finally had a garage sale yesterday (I suppose I could have had it by myself but it's sure easier when the two of us do it) and afterwards, we loaded up everything that didn't sell and took it to Goodwill. I feel SO MUCH BETTER with all that stuff G O N E !!
Carla, I know you can't wait for your grandchild to arrive and I bet it was great news for everyone that your daughter's pregnancy is further along than the doc originally thought. Anyway, I'm happy for you that your precious little one is just about here!
Connie, I'm sorry your breathing is impacted by the dirty air from all the fires burning. I don't have that issue but our son does. He has asthma and his lungs seize with smoke -- even smoke from a campfire can set off his asthma. Anyway, hope you feel better soon.
I've been experiencing chest pain accompanied by jaw pain at random times so I went to the doc. He did an EKG which was normal but said that I could still have heart disease and show a normal EKG so I'm having a nuclear stress test as soon as it can be scheduled. The only reason that I knew that the jaw pain along with the chest pain isn't a good sign for women is that hubby and I took a cardiac class after his heart attack last August. Anyway, hope to get the test and results before long.
Our puppy is ill. Having a flare up of his E-IBD and Addison's Disease. He's on an antibiotic. Hope he gets back to his normal happy self before long. It saddens me when he's not feeling well. I've been spoiling him (of course) by giving him one meal of scrambled eggs (which our vet OK'd) after he's eaten some of his dog food. Well, today he's holding out for eggs.
Have a good day.
Cindy P.
Cindy...I feel bad for your son....beathing problems are set off by so many things. Hope his is somewhat under control. Yes.... campfires and cigarette smoke are bad ones to tolerate!!
I am concerned about your chest and jaw pain. I hope you are getting in soon. That is nothing to let go of for long. I will be keeping you in my prayers. So sorry about your puppy. That poor little guy. They are so much just like our children. Glad you are spoiling him a little too.
Have a wonderful evening.
Love and lots of hugs...connie d
