Hey gang, seems like forever since I've had time to actually iti down at a computer and chat. I have good news to report!  My husband and I both got our approval and he will have vertical sleeve on September 3rd and I will have RNY on September 17th.  We have managed to get the living room and dining room painted, have our 15th Anniversary this past week and had to purchase a new flat screen tv because ours took a 4 foot nose dive to the floor!  It was a goner!!! I hope everyone has been doing well and I look forward to things slowing down a bit after surgery and being able to get more insight into this change from you all! Take Care and hugs to all and prayer to all those in need!

Hi Karen!

Good to hear from you!  Glad you and hubby have your surgeries scheduled at last.  It should be a help to have both of you going through the WL process together.  My hardest thing was having to cook "real" meals for my family right after surgery when I was on the liquid and then soft food diets.  I wasn't hungry and I wasn't in the mood to COOK!  LOL!

Keep posting.  We'll be here for you.
