It's going to be warm here today. Right around 70. I realize that there are areas of the country where it's REALLY, REALLY hot -- but 70 is warm for us here on the Oregon coast. Right now the sun is shining and it's not windy and so it's a beautiful morning.
We're up early to grocery shop before gong to visit my MIL. I wanted to get to the store closer to 7 a.m. when they open but this will do. I don't have much to pick up so it should be a quick trip in and out for me.
Hope that you all have a good day today. It was great to see a post from Maui Karen. Sure do miss the "old timers" who posted long ago. This board is a reflection of life -- constantly evolving and changing -- which is a good thing but I do miss our old friends.

Anyone remember Roy Clark? THANK GOD AND GREYHOUND THEY'RE GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;-) What a LONG weekend!!!!!! Nice to see them but even nice that they are now gone home!!!!!!!!! Yes it cost US money to have them here!!!!!!!!!!!! Each and EVERY meal!!!!!!!!! WTH????????? You would think they would atleast OFFERED one meal......or clean up after????? HAHAHA!!!!
Well shoulder IS feeling better today I THINK. Find out tomorrow at therapy. I go see the specialist on the 28th. I also think that POP I heard was something that is making it get better...I HOPE!!! This pain is the worst I have ever felt in my life!!!
Went to the Bratwurst Festival yesterday...ofcourse WE are the ones that had money so WE only looked...LOL I know that they HAD to have SOME money or they would not have come this far from home right?? But I spent enough and I was not spending more than I already did!!! So looking is what we did...hahaha.
Well NASCAR is ready to start so need to get ready for that...get my chair and me comfy...haha. Actually my phone is charged up now and I need to make my call to mom see how she is doing.

Just popping in to say "hi!" and see what everyone is up to today. Carrie and I are having a good visit. We took Benny to the pool at the Y, but he was awfully fussy about EVERYTHING! Goodness gracious! So we came home and put his little fuss budget to bed.
We are having broiled fish fillets for supper tonight. Carrie says that fish is the easiest protein for her to eat right now. She is doing so well with her post-surgery diet. She had a new bathing suit today and she was so proud of herself. I'm so thankful we were able to give her that surgery.
Poor Christie is working, working, working all weekend. Didn't get home until midnight last night and had to be to work at 7 a.m. this morning. She's still not home yet, and we don't know whether or not to expect her for dinner.
Oh, and my dryer quit! Eeek! Right in the middle of a big load yesterday it just stopped and I can't get it to come back on no matter what I do. Sigh. I guess this means we'll be going to buy a new dryer next week. In the meantime, I guess I'm stuck using my "solar dryer"--LOL!
Well, I'm going to catch a quick lie-down while I can. Love you all!
