It's my 50th birthday!

so I decided to join this forum.

A little about myself. I had VSG on 4/2/12. My HW when I started all the insurance approval hoops was 335. My surgery weight was 291.2. I last weighed myself on 8/2 the morning of my plastic surgery. I weighed 127.4. I've been staying away from the scale because I'm in swell hell. For my birthday I got my stitches out.

I've been married for 29 years. We didn't have children by choice. I have two dogs. A border collie and a pit mix that we got from a rescue.

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Smart not to weigh until the swelling goes down.

I had WLS Halloween 2006. Highest recorded weight was 320 lbs. I stay around 110 lbs now.

You will find plenty of animal lovers here plus a huge variety of lovely people.

Hello Pix and Happy Birthday!  Welcome to OFF!  We're in our "summer slump" right now with lots of folks busy and not checking in much, but we're a fun and lively group.  We love getting new members!  Please join in our daily thread.  We'd love to get to know you. 

I have both fur babies and real babies.  (Sometimes I think I prefer the fur babies!  LOL!)  I've been married 32 years and my husband currently works overseas, but is getting ready to retire at the end of this year.  I have two daughters and one grandson.  One daughter is working on her Ph.D.  The other daughter and grandson live with us.

I have a cat but I grew up with a dog. I prefer cats because I don't have to walk them, just let them go in the litter box. But pets are great. I don't have kids either ... but I'm not married. 

 

Happy B-day and welcome!  I have been awol for the last couple weeks as I was off doing the fair thing.  Congratulations on an awesome job and what kind of plastic's did you have?  I was getting a facelift until the DH took out a knee and needs replacement.
