Believe It Or Not -- It's Wednesday Already!!

Good Morning.  Up and have had a protein drink already.  The dog and I have been outside for a potty break and he now has a biscuit in his Kong.  (He loves that thing.)  Hubby is asleep.  Can tell that Fall is on it's way as it's still dark outside.

Hubby broke a tooth.  Has a quick appt. w/ the dentist this morning to see if the tooth can be salvaged.  It had a crown on it and I think it had a root canal drilled through the crown (not sure).  Anyway, part of the crown came off and part is still on the stub of a tooth and hubby thinks part of the stub broke.  Bummer.

Gearing up to have a garage sale.  Have to put an ad in the paper and start gathering everything and pricing, etc.  I dread it and so does hubby but they are a good way to part with old stuff that is just collecting dust.  We live near a big highway (well, big for our little town).  Anyway, lots of traffic out there so we can get a fair number of people to come by putting signs out there and an ad in the paper.  Summer is drawing to a close and we only have a couple more good weekends left (tourist-wise).

Our son is going to be 41 in early September.  Can't believe it, really.  We give thanks every day that he has good heath and a lovely family whom he loves.

Well, our dog is crying to go outside so I'll go for now.  Hope you all have a great day today.

Good Afternoon Cindy and OFF Family,

I had an early morning doctor appointment, and then did some grocery shopping and picked up prescriptions.  When I got home, I grabbed my water bill and took it to city hall to pay it.  It's due tomorrow, and if it isn't paid on time, the cost goes up.  Now, I'm waiting for my steaks to marinate, so I can cook them early.  If I wait till supper time, I don't feel well enough to cook anything.  

I want to say welcome to Nancy.  Hope you check in here, and let us know more about you.  Hang in there.  It's worth it to make the changes now, so you'll be able to stay with the plan.

Cindy, early happy birthday to your son.  My daughter turned 37 in July, and I can't believe it.  I'm not old enough to have a child that old.  Oh, right.  I had her when I was 18, and her brother when I was 21.  We basically grew up together.  I'm so grateful my kids have been more responsible than I was.

Well, I better go start cooking.

Hi Cindy and Trish and others of my OFF family to come:

Feeling like crap this afternoon/morning. Woke up with a headache on the left side of my face; now it's on the right side. I have an MRI this afternoon for my back. Hope this headache goes away soon. 

Not much else happening. Watched "Gran Torino" last night ... good movie. Well, got to get off here and get in the shower soon and get ready.

Just sat down to check in and wow, there is a lot going on here with our newbies today.  I want to comment, but I'm in the midst of getting supper on the table.  Hopefully I can get back on later tonight.  If I don't just know that I am thinking of you all today.
