Tuesday Morning in Michigan

Good Morning,

I'm late getting this started, and surprised nobody else has.

I've been awake for two hours, and just become able to function.  There is not enough caffeine on the planet.

I am heading to the laundromat in a few minutes.  My daughter is going away for a few days.  Her mother-in-law is taking all the grandchildren to a resort with a water park.  Hopefully, I will be able to afford some sort of family vacation next summer.

Anyway, I'm supposed to be getting a washer/dryer in the next month or two.  I'm getting it from a tenant of my daughter and son-in-law who has moved to Alaska.  Just waiting for the residence to be completely vacated.

Anyway, I better scoot.  The laundry won't get done if I stay on here.

Hi Trish and everyone else to come....



Finally a repea****er test today on redo/ repairs on bathroom renos at the neighbour from hell above. Friday's water test leaked, plumber told me the leaks are now fixed...hope so, as tomorrow drywaller comes in to close off the hole, tape and mud, has to dry before first sanding, then repeat mudding and drying and sandings, etc before final painting sometime next week.



On another note, hospital sent me a letter telling me they want another mammo on Sept 4 ( instead of letting me stew in misery since the failed biopsy in July and the next mammo only due next January). Glad someone is on the ball at the hospital, so in I go again in a couple of weeks for my 4th set of mammos since June.



Well, have to do some laundry and get some lunch

Hello Trish and Jennifer and all my OFF sistas!

My word, it it almost noon and I am just now able to sit and write a brief line.  Never mind that I've been up with Benny for HOURS.  That boy sure does keep me hopping.

Trish, I know you'll be glad to get your own w/d.  I haven't had to make many trips to the laundry mat since I got married; I've been lucky like that.  But I do remember my single days having to lug everything to the laundry room and then sit there while it washed and dried.  Usually I had something to study (in college), but it was still a royal pain.

Jennifer, my gosh!  I can't imagine the stress of living with your neighbor.  Are you SURE you don't want to move???  I know you love your place, but is the aggravation worth it? 

I don't have anything newsworthy to tell today.  Just me and Benny toughing it out this week.  He's a good boy, but he IS a 3 year old.  Someone told me the other day that a 3 year old is just a professional 2 year old.  I think they were right!!!

Hubby leaves the rig in one week, and will be home next Wednesday.  Carrie is going to try and come down Saturday afternoon and will stay a couple of days.  That will really help me out.  Chris is working every day this week plus Sunday.  The new store will open next Monday.  Thank God.  We are all worn out.

Hot and dry here.  I water daily.  Dread to get my electric bill and my water bill this month!  Scary thought, that.

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Not much happening here. It's my weekend. I have no plans. Just hanging around the apartment. Juliette is sleeping atop the cabinets. I would like to sleep all day, too. Really tired. I will do laundry in a bit. I have chicken in the crockpot for dinner.
