Test Results....

Well I guess I have what is called a "frozen shoulder".  Lucky for me I am doing something about soon enough to make it work again! So I started therapy this morning and OMG did it ever HURT!!!!!!!!!! I am signed up for 12 sessions plus on the off days I do them at home to make my arm work again. As for the tramadol...hahahhaa it does nothing for my pain at all!!! So I am calling the dr tomorrow morning and let him know it does NOT help at all. What else can we try?

Had a storm today and yes we had some minor flooding in the parking lot. Great!! NOT!!!!!! Tomorrow is the BBQ that the tenants asked for...not many are signed up and a couple that were backed out. So see what happens. Weather is now calling for slight chance of a storm/rain early in the morning then clear up. BBQ starts at noon. I give up.

OK time to go finish my dish to pass and then relax my arm again. Just wanted to let you all know what happened today.

I hope the doctor can give you a med that helps your pain.

Hi Connie...pain med that he gave me tramadol...ZIP does nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tried to call him today but it was to late in the day...3pm...they closed at 230!!!!!!! WTH??????? So now I have to wait til Monday to call him. ****!!!!!!!!

Judy.... or you couldn't get a hold of the doctor. Could you call the on call doctor and explain it to them.... they may subscribe something else. Hugs!!!

Hi Judy, "frozen shoulder" is very painful , have a friend who had It. The whole idea of PT is to make sure it doesn't get frozen permanently, which can happen, reducing mobility completely. Glad you went in time, you need to do the PT exercises faithfully, and my friend said "Moist Heat" is the type of compresses to put on it at home, and let hot shower run on shoulder when taking showers...be sure to ask your physio about that and if it will help you.
Hope you get the pain meds as you really need them!

Hi Jennifer...this hurts ALOT right now!!! The PT hurts but I WILL do it so it doesn't freeze up forever!!! What pain med did your friend take? My dr gave me tramadol and it doesn't even touch the pain!!!

Unfortunately my friend never had gastric bypass so was prescribed NSAIDS and was able to take them orally no problemo. Suggest you can't as you have had RnY if not mistaken, so maybe you should have Percocet or Vicodin?

Thanks...my dr wants to give me NSAIDS and then he said nope you had WLS so that's is out...YUPPERS...soooo I am limited as to what I can take...Vicodin? IF he will give that to me...MAYBE around here there are so many drug abuser's its not funny so hard to say IF he will give it out...But I will ask him.
