SUNDAY MORNING WHAT'S UP????????
Morning OFF family...Started out 59* when I got up today...BRRRR!!!! But the sun is out so that is good!!! Yesterday we went to the VFW picnic and had a great time...was sad though...found out one of the members died...he fell off his apartment balcony and broke his neck. So sad. The DJ played Vince Gil's Go Rest High On That Mountain and of course that got everyone in tears...why he did that is beyond me...one of the bartenders went over to him and made him stop!!! Thankyou very much!!!! Then when the picnic was over all the bartenders went to the DJ and had him play My Ding a Ling and they all sang it!!! It was the song that Troy ALWAYS sang when there was a party and they did it in his memory...now that was much better...I know the DJ was doing a nice thing earlier but everyone was sad enough...Troy will be missed. Yes he was a drunk at times but a nice guy that welcomed both Rick and myself with open arms to the VFW. We will miss seeing him when we go to the VFW again.
The man that did the pig roast at the picnic asked me what I thought for him doing one for our BBQ for the tenants. I told him I would ask them at our BBQ next week and see what kind of response I got and would let him know. I told him our BBQ's were getting larger each time now so maybe we could have one!!! And if we had one the complex would pay for the pig...so that I will talk to my boss Monday also about. I am sure we can do it!!! He said great!!! So will let him know on that ASAP. OMG that pig was awesome!!!!!!!! He had plain, BBQ and garlic butter!!! YUMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!! He said he would not charge us anything except for the cost of the pig. So that is a great deal!!!! :-)
I need to get my butt in gear and go shopping for our picninc this Friday...why do I seem to wait til the last minute all the time??? Because I am always busy?? LOL So guess I better get ready and start shopping....Have a great day and I wter on see what everyone has to say!!!

Judy....that pig must have been delicious.....they are always so good!! Hope you get to have one at your party too. How is the arm doing? So sorry to hear about the death of your friend. That is so sad. Prayers for his family and friends.
I am not doing anything today. I over did it yesterday.

Good Afternoon Judy, Connie, and my OFF Family,
I just got back from a walk with Utley. We walked over to Colleen's to drop off a container of stuffed cabbage, and then looped around. It's a good walk, and the weather is gorgeous.
Went to church this morning. Our pastor gave his last sermon this morning. He's been offered a position at his alma mater, and he and his family are moving to Wisconsin. I really grew to love him and his wife in the short time I've been here. It's an interesting time for our church, as we figure out what we're to do next.
I'm heading to the kitchen to make a batch of cookies. We're having a farewell fellowship this evening after the service. They asked we bring finger foods. I only have the fixings for cookies, so I'll make a batch.
Must scoot.

Hi all!
Golly gee, I took a nap and I am SO out-of-it! I slept so hard I can hardly wake up. For two cents I'd crawl right back into bed and go back to sleep for the night. But no can do. Time to get up and put supper on and get ready for the Benster to wake up from HIS nap.
Got nothing to report today anyway. Just wanted to say hi.

Got in the house at 9:30 from getting stuff ready for the fair next week. We start out this Wednesday and on until Sunday of the following week. So starting Wednesday I won't be putting the thread to bed 
BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
