Over 50 Newbie

Hello I am also a Newbie. I am 56 yo and went today for my testing. I see the Surgeon next week, but am hoping to have my RNY in Sept/Oct. I found out today that I have severe sleep apnea and have to go for a Doc consult to get a script to be fitted for a machine. I too thought about it 4 years ago, but finally caved this year as I'm always in pain and feel I need to get this weight off to be a healthier person and just feel better. Glad I found the Over 50 group. My mind is made up and I just want to be on my way to feeling better.

Hi Everybody,

I'm also a newbie, as of today!  I have been on just the regular RYN forum since January.  I did not know about OFF.  So glad that I found you guys.  I will be having my surgery on the 26th and keeping asking myself if I can do this are not!!!  I'm stuggling with the pre-op liquid diet right now, so how the heck will I be able to do the rest?
