A little update from me!
I used to be on this site often but have spent a lot of time just lurking lately. I love hearing what you all have to say. I finally had my revision in March on the 19th and have to say it was successful. I am so much happier with the results this time around. I had the RNY 7 years ago, ending up with a fistula. My surgeon told me I would never lose weight with the way my configuration was as my stomach had reattached itself to the small pouch. It was almost as if I had never had surgery. In March my surgeon went in and redid my stomach converting my RNY to the DS. I am down 54lbs and finally seeing success and feeling so much better. I still have along way to go- another 80lbs to go then my surgeon will do a tummy tuck/hernia repair.Life is a work in progress- the key is to love the journey. I am working on that part of life!
