Good Morning ...Friday alread!
Good morning everyone.....
I just got up to check the threads....I wasn't able to get back to anyone Wednesday or yesterday...so sorry. I didn't even get on Facebook all day.The neck procedure went well. I had pretty much slept off and on all day and night yesterday. Thank goodness for Vicodin and Flexeril!! I won't be doing much else today either.
I will do my best to check in later. Probably just from my phone. It is harder to post from there but I will do what I can.
Vickie....I hope your day goes smoothly today...HUGS!!!
Judy....sorry you are dealing with arm pain. I wish you could find a way to get it checked out. Keeping you in my prayers.
Missing you all so much!!! My head is foggy.... sorry I missed posting to some of you...you know I care!!
Wishing everyone a great day!! Prayers for many in need....special prayers as well.
Love and hugs to all....connie d
Good morning Connie and my OFF sistas!
Connie, it's good to hear from you today. I'm glad your neck procedure went well. I sure hope it helps for the long term. Prolly best for you to take it easy today, like you say. Your poor body has been through a lot lately. I hope you feel better soon.
I was about ready to run away by bedtime last night. OMGoodness. Benny Bop was a holy terror all day long yesterday. I'm hoping today will be better. At least we haven't started the day by screaming! LOL! (I mean Benny screaming, not ME! )
Chris is home this morning, but closes tonight, which means a very long evening for me. Maybe I'll take Benny to the Y to go swimming this afternoon.
Nothing much going on here. Trish, hope you're feeling better today. Love you all!
Good Afternoon Connie, Vickie and all to follow,
Connie, I'm glad your neck procedure is giving you some relief. Definitely take it easy today.
Vickie, sorry that Bennie was so difficult to care for yesterday. I can't imagine living with my Munchkins, and caring for them 24/7. I get exhausted watching them occasionally. Hope today is better for you.
This morning, I scooted over to Colleen's to do a load of laundry. Hopefully, by September, I'll have my own washer and dryer in the basement. Colleen and Trent have a friend that is moving out of their rental next door to them, and she can't take her washer and dryer with her. So, they're giving them to me. I was going to buy a set from a friend at church if they hadn't told me about the free set.
While I was there, she was busy packing for their big camping trip. All of her in-laws go camping one weekend every summer. That means all eight cousins for the kids to play with. Plus, Colleen is having a small birthday celebration for Lincoln, because his 4th birthday is Thursday. They were putting the goody bags together this morning. Lincoln loves Spiderman, so the bags had Spiderman on them, as well as Spiderman tattoos, and Spiderman blowers. Plus, a superball, Tootsie Pop, and some fruit snacks.
Now that I'm home, I need to work on making zucchini bread. Colleen gave me a huge zucchini from their veggie garden. I'm sure I have all the ingredients.
Must scoot.
Hugs and Prayers,
Trish

Oh, Tri****'s so good to have friends who understand. You know I love Benny with all my heart, just like you love your munchkins. But, oh my, I never expected to be raising another baby at this stage of my life. Yes, I am exhausted all the time. Some days I feel badly that I don't accomplish more, that my house is so dirty, that my hair is unwashed, but I have to stop and remind myself that Benny won't be 3 yrs old forever. And he and Christie need me right now. I know I am doing the right thing.
The goodie bags sound great! Benny loves Spider Man, too. (What's up with that? I think he's a bit creepy myself!) Can you share your recipe for zucchini bread?
Vic
Hi Vickie,
I always use the following recipe, from AllRecipes.com. It's very moist and I love it.

Afternoon OFF family!! Just a quick stop in again for me...Arm is still hurting me like crazy, especially if I turn it the wrong way!!!
Mom called me this morning and told me her blood test was back...its a 10.2 now. She forgot to ask if it was negative or positive!!! GRRRRR told her to call them back and ask!!! She did ask what it was when she went to ER though...it was a 2!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She was just about empty of blood!!!!!!!! So anyhow she has to go back in a few days for a repete blood test and if it still isn't up higher they are going to change her medication. OK. Sighs.....worry worry worry. That's me.
OK time for me to stop my arm is screaming again.
Thoughts and prayers for ALL that need them!!!
HUGSSSSSSSSSSSS
{{{HUGS}}} Judy! So sorry your arm is paining you. You prolly need to just rest it completely for a few days, but I know, I know . . . you are way behind on your recerts because of the dumb phone company. I wish I could come and help you. I'm a whiz at banging out paperwork. Prayers for you and your mom. I hope you are both feeling better soon!

Just stopping in to read alls threads. Started raking hay at 10 am. The hired kid and my middle daughter staked up almost 400 bales. We got the last load home about 7. Took a fast shower and met the two oldest daughter for a bit to eat, only had two cheese sticks for the day and almost lost the few bits I ate.
When I got back home I washed my hair and took a soak in the tube and was than able to get 3 oz of fish down and now feel human again.
Bill has been in very bad shape with his knees. The man I had to force to take a Vicodin when he said his leg was hurting like crazy has been taken 3/4 the last three nights.
