Good morning, Cindi.  It has been cool here as well.  The weather is crazy.  We have some trees that need to be cut down as well.  Old lodgepole pines that are pretty much dead.  We had a bunch cut down last year but a couple more have bit the dust in the meantime.  I'm ready to call the tree people but my hubby thinks he'll do it.  Chain saws make me nervous.  I'll be glad when they're down.

It's been noisy in here the last few weeks.  A couple of our neighbors have replaced their roofs.  Our house isn't that old so we don't have to worry about that for a while yet. It's nice to see people making improvements to their property.

Hubby had an allergic reaction to the Botox he got last week for his migraines.  He called the dr. (at my insistence) and she said she will talk to him about it prior to his next injections in October.  We didn't know if they could administer Benedryl or something like that at the same time as the Botox to prevent any adverse effects or if she would even consider giving him anymore injections.  It's still too early to tell whether or not he will derive a benefit from the Botox.  He sees his regular neurologist next month for a follow up so we can ask questions then.

Tomorrow, we have Agility with our dog.  After this five week course, there won't be any more classes until January.  The instructor takes a break and plus she offers other things -- like she's heavily involved with 4-H and such.  Anyway, we will enjoy it while we can.

We Skyped with our grandchildren last weekend.  They are growing like weeds.  It's hard to follow the kids during a Skype session because they are all talking at once and jumping around.  It's fun to see their enthusiasm for everything.  Our oldest grandson (7) starts flag football again soon and his sister (5) is going to be a cheerleader for the flag football teams.  The twins are busy as all get out (2).  Our son is so patient with his kids.  He loves them to the moon and back and it is a joy to witness their bond.

Have a great day.

Cindy P-  Just saw a report on GMA about a new treatment for migraines and thought of you.  It's called the Omega Procedure.  It requires the installation of wires that go to lower back where there is a battery.  Stimulation results in abatement of headaches.  I'm sure there will be a link on the Good Morning America website.  Cindi B

Cindi B:  THANK YOU for the info!  We see hubby's regular neurologist next month.  Going to ask him about it.  By then, we should have a better idea how well the Botox is going to work.  I will look at the GMA website to see what they've got posted about the Omega Procedure.

Good Morning Cindi and all my OFF Sisters,

I'm really tired again.  Was up really late.  Not sure what's wrong with my sleep cycle these days.  I slept like a baby in Pennsylvania.

Today is Colleen's 37th birthday.  I was only 18 when she was born.  I posted about it on my Facebook Timeline.  She is my first child.

Must scoot.

Hugs,

Trish

Hi Everyone,
Not doing anything today other than my pool exercises in condo pool, and reading "Under the Dome" by Stephen King as TV show wetted my appetite and found book in our condo's honour lending library.
Tomorrow pick up friend for late Tapas (small plates) lunch at a restaurant ( perfect for my WLS reduced tummy) followed by 4pm show of Cirque du Soleil's "Totem".

Our weather continues to be perfect and cool at night fabulous for living without air conditioning....

Hi Cindi and my OFF family:

Not much happening here. It's cooled off considerably. If the windows were fixed and people weren't outside smoking, I might consider opening the windows.

Having problems figuring out my new phone. It makes no sounds. Have to go to the Verizon store before work. So I need to get in the shower and get going.

Hope everyone has a good day.
