Tuesday Morning in Michigan
Hi Trish and my OFF family:
I didn't sleep well at all last night. I was wired for some reason and wanted to finish my book. Got sleepy and didn't fini**** but when I tried to sleep, I dozed off and then woke up coughing and gagging. Couldn't stop; took cough medicine and used my rescue inhaler. Took a long time for it to work. Got out of bed and sat in the living room and played computer solitaire and watched "I Love Lucy" til nearly 6 a.m. before I could get back to sleep. Slept til nearly noon but still feel groggy and miserable, and I'm still coughing a bit. Fortunately, this is my weekend, so I can lay low. Just doing laundry. I stripped the bed, washed the comforter and sheets and now started the other laundry.
Other than that, no big plans today. Maybe watch some movies tonight. Just veg and relax. Got to find another book to read now that I'm almost done with the one I was reading.
Have a good day. Sorry I don't remember what everyone wrote. I'm kind of out of it today.
Eileen,
I empathize with how you feel. I have had too many days like that in recent months. Thankfully, while I was in Pennsylvania, at my sis-in-law Kathy's, I slept like a baby, and woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed. Unfortunately, I didn't sleep well on Sunday night, and couldn't get enough caffeine Monday morning. It turns out I had a fever all day Monday, while I was driving from Pittsburgh, through Ohio, into Michigan. Love the rest stops on the Ohio Turnpike. The first one I hit had a Panera Express, where I got a large unsweet iced tea, and a cup of coffee. Yes, even though I am sober three and a half years, I'm still a two fisted drinker.
Hope you feel better soon.
Hugs

Well bringing up the end of the day like usual. Had a busy crazy day. DD called so ran over to go cross town shopping with her. Had several stops/errands and she would drop me at one store call her to cut down on time comparing prices. Than went to Japanese buffet for a fast lunch. Went to three more stores and had to use bathroom at all. Got on the expressway had to get my car and go to six month WLS check-up. Bad accident and DD had to take me straight to the doc without a car. She went shopping at a few more stores until I called for a ride home. We pulled into her drive and the car started to smell and than I saw the steam I knew was going to blow. I had her go talk to a small garage that was good to us and 1/4 mile from her house. The guy said to get it, fill the radiator and run it down. He stayed over almost an hour to help us. Thankfully it was just a fitting instant of the water pump we thought it was. This guy is fixing it for $100 instead of the over $1000 It was going to cost for a water pump at the dealer.
So I had to get her from the garage run back to her house to get Granddaughter to take into down for dancing, drive back to her house and check out Bill that was doing hay in the field behind her house. Wait for 2nd daughter to take 1st to get her truck form hubby so she could pick up granddaughter on our way to a fair superintendent meeting. Stopped to get a bit and head on home. Run, run run from 11 to 9, what a crazy day.
