MOM UPDATE

Just got a call from her. She said she is going home today. Asked he how her BP was. She said OK I guess. SIGHS.......this is the type of answers I get from my family!!!!!! She said she has to take medication for the ulcer though. I figured that much. She said she has dr appointments also. Figured that also.

So that is all I know. Now you know as much as I do...haha.

Hi Judy,

I once had a bleeding ulcer, and I was put on a very strict diet, and some antibiotics and stomach meds.  A lot of ulcers are caused by some sort of viral infection.

My Mom is always vague when it comes to doctors and health.

I'm still praying.

Remember she just had her stomach surgery just before Easter...it was twisted closed wonder if that had anything to do with it??

Glad she's going home. She might not understand what the doctor is telling her; remember, she's in her 90s, right? That's why it's important to have a go-between to let you know what's happening (but we've been through this already; my brothers do this; your family doesn't). If I had to depend on my mom to tell me about her doctors' appointments, I'd get no information at all. That's why I'm so grateful for my brother living with her.
