Thursday Morning Hello from Pennsylvania

Good Morning OFF Family,

I am recovering from my late night last night.  The Phillies game was fun, but they lost.  Hopefully, I can get to another game this season somehow.

Was chatting with my Christopher the other night.  He's still dealing with the effects of the concussion.  He saw a neurologist who said to take the rest of the week off, and work half days next week.  This is eleven days after the accident.

Found out my Mom called Chris and cancelled her going to New York with me next weekend.  She can be very spiteful, and in doing so, hurts my kids.

Today I see my weight loss surgeon.  Haven't seen him in two years.

Must scoot.

Hugs,

Trish

Good morning! We are here at the Frio. We scored a great campsite right on the river. Benny is having a ball, although there were two very tired g-parents here last night. But we survived the trip and now we have two whole days to relax and play. Love you all very much!

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Sorry the Phillies lost. Hope your trip continues to be good. Don't let your Mom spoil it.

Back to work tonight. Not much else happening. Hot and humid here, or at least it felt that way when I went out to get the paper. Not moving very fast. After some difficulty getting to sleep, I slept soundly.

Anyway, have a good day.

Hello again!

Butch paid for an internet connection for today and so I am on his laptop for a bit.  Thought I might as well type while the typing is good!  LOL!

Wow, are we tired.  We played on the river for several hours today.  I am SO worn out!  Benny loves the river.  He got an inflatible crocodile for his birthday, and this is the first real chance he's had to ride it.  Of course, either Butch or I have to walk by his side while he rides croc, so we take it by turns.  One of us gets to float in the tube while the other one walks Benny and Croc.

Our first night went pretty well.  We couldn't figure out how to get the ho****er heater turned on, so no one got a shower last night (ha!), but we got it working today.  It was our first time to sleep on the new bed.  Butch says he liked it.  I thought the mattress was a bit "firm" (as in hard as a rock!), but I'll give it a few more nights before I pronounce judgment.  I might have to buy another one of those memory foam toppers for it.

Benny did sleep all night, which was a blessing!  He's been so wound up and rowdy!  Whew!  He's been running circles all around us.  But he's just being a 3 year old--full of life and pep and energy!  He's having a great time.  Best of all, he's staying on track with the potty training.  I brought some diapers, just in case, but he's doing well.

I cooked on my new stove and found it quite adequate.  The oven was a bit slow this morning with the biscuits.  I'll get the hang of it.  I like my little kitchen.  Still need a few things to make it perfect, but I'll get there.

This is a very nice camp.  Lots of folks here!  I think I like RV'ing!  Would prolly like it better if it were just Butch and I in here.  Three's a bit of a crowd.  But it's nice and roomy in here and I think it's going to suit us just fine.  We're talking about taking a year and just travelling all over the US before we settle permanently somewhere.  I think I would really like that.  I would like to see all 48 states!  Watch out!  Here we come!  LOL!

Well, nap time is calling me.  Hope everyone is doing well today.

Vic

Well the weather and humidity broke today.  We picked up Bill's daughter that lives in TN from the airport.  We had lunch with another DD that she will be staying with.  I ordered my lunch packed to go except the salad which I ate half of.  How much I lost came up way of another conversation.  The funny thing is from last January to September I lost 60 pounds and only one person noticed.  Since surgery this January I lost the 30 pound regain from getting the band removed  (Which they didn't see) plus 20 More (Which is what they saw.)  The comment was you won't recognize (me) as I had lost so much.  To funny that this last 20 must have made such a difference from the 100 pounds I was up 5 years ago.

These are his girls that never commented on my weight, they just would talk about people that were as big as whales or fat lazy people around me.  Oh well, Bill loves me fat and not so fat.

Every body take care.
