Monday morning blahs!
Good morning Vickie and everyone.......
Vickie....I am also in a blue funk.....along with you and Cindi. I am trying to do my "grateful" list everyday....just feeling harder to do right now. I keep at it though!! I would love to have a front deck...it sounds like a very calming and beautiful place to start the day. I had one house with that and I just loved it. I am happy you took a day for yourself yesterday....we all need those days....pajama's and a book....perfect!!!
Cindi....nice to see your post....I was getting concerned about you....I haven't seen you hear in a while. Sorry you are in a funk too....it seems to be going around!
I am having a do nothing day today.....relaxing and reading. Tomorrow I get my final nerve block done on my back. I will be so glad to have that over with!! Last week after they did the left side.... my hip and leg down to my ankle were completely numb for about 24 hours. Walking was hard to do....glad I had Pam to help me! It is helpful to have a PT as a best friend!! I will then get my neck done. They do only half at a time....like they did with my back. I am tired of all the needles....I want it all done and over with now! I shouldn't complain...it really is helping so much with the pain.
Wishing you all a beautiful day!! I will check in again later.
Prayers for many in need....special prayers for some.
Love you all....hugs.....connie d
Hi Vickie, and Everyone,
I was at Colleen's first thing this morning to watch the kids so she could go have coffee with our pastor's wife. Frankie was the only one awake. He's such a joy to feed, and he has a good appetite. Then, he and I were playing for a little while. After he fell, and bumped his head, I held him, and he got all snuggly. I love that. I held him for a lttle while, and he fell asleep in my arms. What joy. After that, his sister woke up. Gave her breakfast, and let her play on my iPhone. Then, Colleen came home.
I'm going out with her later, coz she has a ton of laundry to do. So, she's taking it to the laundromat, and I'm going along to help. Her washer works, but she needs to pack for our trip to PA next week. If she stayed to do it all at home, it would take days to finish.
I got a late call last night from Chris. He and his wife are in New England, and they had a bad car accident in Maine. He was in the emergency room, with a concussion. Of course, I'm concerned. Prayers are appreciated.
Vickie,
I know it's hard when your hubby is so far away for work. My sis=in-law's husband is in Saudi Arabia. He was home for two weeks in April, because his mother died. Prior to that, he was home in December. I think he told me he probably won't be home again till Christmas.
Must scoot.
Love and hugs,

Oh, Trish, I'm so sorry to hear about the car accident! Praying for Chris and his wife and all of you. Please keep us posted, okay?
Know how much you are loving your little munchkins. I'm really rather jealous of you. You get to see them all the time, but you also get to leave and go to your own home! I've got Benny living with me 24/7 and as much as I love him, I surely do miss "me time"! Some days I feel like running away from home! LOL!
Hope you are feeling better today!

The day started out early and busy. I had all four grands last night. Had to get two ready to go to swim practice and the other two ready as we had to take our new truck in for some added equipment first thing. The daughter called while we were there to pick up her to so rush back to meet her. We had planned to have breakfast with the two boys. So back Bill and I went to town for breakfast. Got home and had a call from the dealership the truck came from. Last year when I renewed my DL they on did it for 1 day. So I have been driving on a expired license for the last year. I tool the SoS almost and hour to fix it. Got back home to get some awful news from the vet.
Between this and the horrible weather, I totally forgot about the support meeting tonight. I really need to be there. I am only 5 months out and have started to gain this whole week.
Go back to stick my head in the sand.
