Saturday Morning in Michigan
Good Morning,
I hope this finds you all enjoying this day. I'm fighting dozing here, hoping I don't have this problem all day.
I have no specific plans today. I do have some strawberries to clean, and make into freezer jam.
I am still having symptoms from my hida scan on Thursday. They injected synthetic fat during the nuclear medicine test. This was to make my gall bladder work on it while, and they could watch it on the screen. The fat made me nauseous, and in pain. Since then, I have felt lousier than ever.
My foot continues to give me grief. I go back to the orthopedist on Wednesday. I've run out of the pain med that he prescribed. Not fun.
Gotta go.
Love and hugs,
Trish

Morning Trish and OFF family yet to come in...
Right now the sun is out...but then yesterday started out like this also...then all hell broke out...AGAIN!!!!! Calling for another round today...GRRRRRRRRRRR So tired of this weather and tempers are getting out of hand!!!!
Need to go shopping for the BBQ Thursday. Hopefully the weather will be nice this BBQ. PLEASE??????????? Have to do the shopping this weekend because its the first of the month and rents will be coming in and I have to be in the office all day to collect those checks. Soooooo today and tomorrow are shopping days...so I guess I best get going while it is still nice outside!!!
Thoughts and Prayers for ALL that need them!!
HUGSSSSSSSSSSS
Sun still shining here too Judy but like you said yesterday started this way also. We didn't get it as bad as you yesterday but, did the day before. I have had ENOUGH of this flooding. We have as much water now as we do in the spring after the thaw. There isn't anywhere for it all to go.
I have the two youngest grands today. Their Moms had them up at 5 to get them here and off to a 4-H goat show with the older two. They will be turning into hot messes here soon.
Good morning Trish and Judy and all my OFF sistas!
Trish, so sorry you are still having so much pain. I hope it goes away soon for you!
Judy, I sure wish you could send some of that rain down here to us. We are still in drought conditions and the temps are hitting the triple digits all week. A nice cooling rain would be just the ticket.
I am moving pretty slow this morning. We played pretty hard yesterday and I am learning that I am not as young as I used to be! I know, big shock, huh? But it does always surprise me when I can't just bounce out of bed like I used to. A day at the water park or a day on the river just about does me in the next day. Oh, but it was worth it yesterday. It was 100 degrees and that cold river water felt wonderful!
Anyway, I think Butch and I were the oldest tubers on the river yesterday. Several of the younger folk commented on us being out there. I thought that was funny. Like life ends after age 30 or something! Admittedly the river crowd is generally young, raucous, and drunk! But pretty genial for all that. We all just bump along in our tubes and you just can't get offended easily or you don't need to be out there!
Not sure what I'm doing today. Some laundry, some housework, some bookkeeping, blah, blah, blah. Nothing exciting. Happy Birthday to our sweet sista Laureen today! Hope everyone has a marvelous Saturday!
Love you all!
Hi Trish and my OFF family:
My back pain is gone today but now I have a headache. Supposed to rain today, so that explains that.
My White Sox team really reeks this year. Lost twice to the Indians ... 19-10 and 9-8. We were leading the second game and still lost with our closer on the mound. I think I need to follow a different team ... the Pirates? This White Sox team reminds me of 2007 ... that was a damn horrible team too.
Well, have to work again tonight. Took something for the headache but it's not working. Have a good day.
Eileen, my Phillies started the season pretty sucky, but now with Chase Utley and Carlos Ruiz back off the DL, their hitting has gotten better. Well, last night they went insane. Scored 16 runs. It was worth staying up late to watch. Their in California, and I'm in the Eastern Time Zone. Our pitcher only gave up one run, and our bullpen, which usually gives up runs in close games, didn't give up any.
Hope your Sox improve, except when they're in Philly in July.
Hugs,
Trish

A late 'hello' to all.
This last chemo session knocked me for a loop. Nausea, dizziness, Migraine from beyond Hell, BP going higher each hour, and dehydration set in. So ... we spent the day in the ER getting IV meds and fluids. My power port makes that a simple and painless process.
The only consolation is knowing it could be much worse.
Home now and feeling exhausted. The dogs are happy to curl up in bed with me and Tom waits on me hand and foot.
Kisses
Annette
