I HATE THIS WEATHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We've had flooding down here, too, Judy. It was nasty on the East Side of town. Two of my coworkers had to wade into their apartment complex. One had water in her apartment (I almost rented there ... fortunately, I didn't ... I would've been flooded because I would've had a first-floor apartment). Because we are so close to the Ohio River, we do get flooding here. Nothing you can do about it. Last year we had drought, this year flooding.
Its bad all over in this area....we can't stop it from happening and then tenants ask the stupid question...DO WE NEED TO FILL OUT A WORK ORDER? HUH????? How do we stop this from happening?? I have no control over this!!! HELLO!!!!!!!! We are in the same problem as the rest of you here....
Anyhow glad you are ok!!! Sorry about the co-workers!!! It just sucks!!!!!!
Vic if I could I WOULD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trust me I sure would!!!!!!!! OMG I saw my first snake today!!! I about climbed up the pole to the roof over the patio to club house when I saw it!!! The dam thing saw me and stopped and looked at me and then went on its way!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!
And may I add that new 5th wheel is a beauty!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!

My daddy used to tell me that snakes were more afraid of me than I was of them! I never believed him!!! But I tell you what: I can damn sure kill a snake. I had to learn how. I had them crawl and slither into the garage, even into the house! When your man is 12,000 miles away, you've got to be tough.
Thanks so much for the comments on the new 5th wheel. We are super excited about it. It's not brand new, but you could never tell it. Only one owner and they obviously took good care of it. I've been looking up RV parks all day! LOL! Of course, we can't make any big trips in it right away because Butch is going back to work for the next 6 months to pay for it (grrrr!), but we are hoping to make several short hops in it (with Benny in tow) just to try it out. Lots of fun places to go right here in Texas. But we have all sorts of dreams and plans for several cross country trips! I can't wait! So you see, I just MIGHT come visit you one day! LOL!

OMG in the HOUSE?????????????????????? I would die!!!!!!!!! That snake is back in MY area yet tonight Rick said!!! I refuse to take Bandit out for his potty walk before bed!!!! LOL I told Rick HE had to take him!!! I suppose IF I were alone I would buck up and do it...but I am not alone so I am a girly girl...LMAO
OMG that is USED????? WOW!!!!!!! My brother has one and I have never seen it opened up yet...just like his dam boat!!! Only seen it dry docked!!!!!!! I told him I lost 170 pounds and STILL have not been asked to go for a ride on it!!!!!!!!! Sighs...But that one of yours is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe sometime you can come see us here!!! Not sure where you can park it though...camping around here??? Not sure...????
