Where is everyone on Thursday?
Hi my OFF family:
Where is everyone? It's after 1 p.m. and no one has posted? I'm amazed. I had an all-day headache yesterday, went to bed with it, woke up with it, felt miserable all day. I think it's gone, although it keeps coming back, just a niggling achy at the left temple. Ugh. And I have to be in charge tonight. I hope it's an easy night.
We didn't have any storms last night but it's still gloomy today. I'm just having my first cup of coffee here. Still a little leery of any movement. When I bend down, the headache comes back. I bent down to give Juliette her food, and felt it start to hurt again. Can't tell if it's a migraine or a sinus headache, so I'm treating it both ways (Imitrex, decongestants, my nasal spray). My eyes are very itchy, too. I keep the windows closed here because of all the cigarette smokers around the apartment complex who smoke outside.
Anyway, what's up folks? Where are y'all?
Hope to hear from some of you. I stayed up late watching the Blackhawks Stanley Cup game ... not a big hockey fan, but it is the Chicago team, and it went into triple overtime so I had to watch ... exciting game, and they won. Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals.
Sorry about the headaches....I have a slight one myself. I missed the game last night, but have sort of lost interest in the Stanley Cup since the Sharks didn't make it to the finals. Both my sons play hockey and have since they were about 4 years old, so I have to be a fan....ha.
Time to get something done.......my "to do" list is always in front of me, and I often ignore it..........would much rather goof off than do chores.
Hope you have a good day.
Aloha,
Karen
Good Evening Eileen and all,
I spent the day at my daughter's garage sale, helping her with the kids. I'm feeling pretty exhausted, and have a ton of cleaning to do this evening. My grandsons are coming over tomorrow, and my kitchen is trashed and the floor if sorely in need of a mopping. I'm raking a break watching one TV show. Then, I'll get to work in the kitchen.
I took Isabel shopping for her birthday yesterday, and spoiled her rotten. First, we went to Gymboree. Isabel and I fell in love with an adorable sundress, with matching sandals and purse. Then, we went to Toys R Us, where Izzy spent close to an hour, but couldn't decide on anything. I had hoped to take her to Best Buy to see if we could get her a reasonably priced digital camera. Well, the salesperson showed me one. We also got the memory card, a case, and batteries for it. Then, it turned out her Mom and brothers were having lunch at McDonald's right next door, so we joined them. After lunch, we came to my house to bake cookies for the kids to sell at today's garage sale.
I better get moving.
Hugs and Prayers,
Trish
