Marvelous, Magnificent Monday in Michigan
Good Morning Everyone,
I have a busy morning away from home today. A well loved sister in the Lord passed away last week. Her funeral is today, and I am making a casserole, and then go and help serve at the luncheon afterward.
Nothing else is going on. Must scoot.
Hugs and love to all,
Trish

Good morning all. Not much new here. Since the kids left it is quiet here. I have been working in my flower beds. I had seven, but I am cutting back. Just too much for me to do. My Dh is doing most of the vegetable garden. He seems to really enjoy it. Well I just wanted to let you all know I am doing good, My dr. appointment is next month, CT & MRI included. Have a great week all.

Annette, I was on chemo for over 8 mos. Have been off for 9 mos. My energy comes & goes. On a really good day & can work outside for about 1 hour. Then I sleep for hours. When I first had chemo the stuff was so strong. I couldn't even go up one step without help. I couldn't go down to the basement for mos. If I tried my DH was always in front of me & I was on my butt. I am much better now bur a few hours of shopping & my day nis done. Be patient & you will get better. You are in my thoughts & prayer's. Nan

Hi Trish and my OFF family:
I am feeling miserable this morning. Slept til nearly 11:30 a.m. and woke up with a headache and assorted body aches. Feel like crap. I've considered calling in sick but don't want to give up a vacation day (our vacation days and sick days are the same ... paid days off). I've taken a vicodin and an Imitrex and nothing has worked. Plus used an icepack on my neck. I think this will be a long night if I can't get anything to work. But it's my Friday, so I'll go into work and try to muddle through.
The good news ... I have lost two more pounds since I started watching my food intake on MyFitnessPal.com. Total: 8 pounds. I can feel my bra loosening. Not doing a lot of exercise; just walking up and down the hall at work every hour for five minutes. I guess every little bit helps.
Good to see you again, Nan. Hope you are doing well. Annette, hang in there. I can't imagine what you are going through. Wish I could do something to help.
Well, that's all from me. I do have to get in the shower now. Have a good day.
Trish are we in the same state? In this Michigan it started storming last night and we are having Judy's weather 1-2 inch rain. I had doc appointment and couldn't see to drive at times. Had stop and get blood work done. Good thing Bill had to have his drawn too from a appointment last week.
Sure is hard getting older. We used to go to DOC 2/3 times a year (except WLS.) Now doing that in a week.
